Alex's POV;
Alex's mind was being pulled in 700 different directions. A part of her knew she should have told Tobin, but the other part of her was scared of the midfielders reaction. She realizes now that she should have told her right when Tobin asked her how things were with Serv. Now things are much worse than they ever could have been if she was just honest. But right now, she couldn't sit around and think about what she should have done. She needs to think about what she needs to do. She walks to the kitchen picking up her shirt that only minutes ago, Tobin was throwing onto the floor. She slides back into the garment and runs a hand through her hair in frustration. She reaches for her phone on the counter, 3 missed calls & 5 texts from Servando. She deletes the notifications & dials Tobin's number. A few rings go by on Alex's end, and then she hears Tobin's phone begin ring from her duffle bag by the door.

"Fuck," she whispers in anger, tossing her phone onto the counter. She slams her elbows on the granite surface and rests her head in her slender fingers.

With no other options available, Alex grabs her jacket hanging by the door & the keys to her car and darts out the door. She slides as quickly as she can out of their apartment complex & looks around outside for any sight of Tobin. Finding nothing, she hops in the car & brainstorms any locations in town that her and Tobin have gone to before or visited frequently. She heads to the local coffee shop and walks in, searching for Tobin's long brown locks sitting in any of the seats.

"Hello ma'am, what can I get for you today?" A small Italian man behind the counter across the cozy shop calls.

"Hi, I- uh.. did you see a girl come in here about this tall," Alex says, waving her hand next to her ear. "Brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, tan? Wearing a jacket like mine?" Alex finishes, her words getting faster and faster the more she talks. She's growing impatient & nervous to hear the man's answer.

"No, not here sor-" He begins but Alex doesn't let him finish. She darts out the door in a frenzy and hops back into her vehicle.

She drives around for at least 45 minutes, stopping in any small shops that are still open this late & getting basically the same answer from all of them, "No".

Alex is driving around Portland like a mad women. Tobin could be anywhere, but then it hits Alex. She slams the speeding car to a halt & makes a screeching U-Turn on the road. She glances around quickly to see if any cops are around & lets out a relieved breath to see she's the only one on the road. She's going 85 in a 40 mph speed zone, but her mind & focus is only set on one thing. The women she loves.

She brings the car to a jolting stop and jumps out. She finally reached her destination. A small park about 20 minutes from their apartment, Tobin always used to go on runs here or would sit by the small creek that runs through the wooded area. Tobin always told her it was her favorite spot in Portland, and Alex is mad at herself for not coming here right away. She runs through the park calling for the midfielder over and over. Each yell is louder & shakier, as Alex feels sobs overcoming her. She's looking around in a frenzy to see anybody in the dimly lit park. Then she sees it. She sees a slender body with a loose ponytail juggling a soccer ball down by a bridge that passes over the flowing creek. She darts to Tobin faster than she's ever ran before, as Tobin's eyes look up to meet her own, she wraps her arms around the midfielder in a frenzy, causing Tobin to stumble backwards and fall straight on her back with Alex toppling on top of her.

"Ouch! What the hell Alex?!" Tobin cries, crawling out from under the striker and slowly getting up to her feet.

Alex gets up right after her & is overcome in emotions at the sight of Tobin. Fear, regret, sorrow, but mostly relief to see Tobin's alive.
