Tobin's POV;
Being reunited with the younger girl was always exciting to Tobin. To know that they could go into camp with no tension between them was even more exhilarating to the midfielder. Alex and Katie got along incredibly well and Tobin was grateful for the time she spent here. She wishes time would've gone by slower while she was here, but she misses Kelley massively at the same time.
She hears her phone ring in her pocket as she's packing the remainder of her things. "Kel!" She shouts excitedly.
"When are you coming home? I miss you. It's so lonely" Kelley asks, and Tobin can almost see the defender's expression through the phone.
"I should be there around 3 today" Tobin tells her, looking down at her watch.
"Okay. I don't have time to clean then, so you can just do it when you get home" Kelley states seriously, and Tobin frowns.
"Yeah, okay, like I know how-" Tobin begins, but is caught off guard by small kisses being peppered around the back of her neck and arms snaking around her waist. "Hey Kel, I have to go" Tobin moans against the phone.
"Ew why did you just moan?" Kelley asks and Tobin hangs up the phone tossing it onto the bed.
Alex pulls away and Tobin turns around to face her, "I hate you" she laughs.
"I bet" Alex smirks devilishly, her hands running up and down Tobin's waist slowly.
"Kelley doesn't know about everything that's happened, so I figure we just surprise her" Tobin suggests and Alex nods slowly.
"Whatever you want to do babe" She says in a seductive tone.
"What's up with you today?" Tobin laughs, catching onto the striker's particularly seductive mood.
"What do you mean?" Alex asks, this time her voice is at it's normal pitch and Tobin is grateful, because if the younger girl kept up this attitude then she would be done for.
"Nothing" Tobin smiles, kissing Alex's lips quickly and wiggling out of her grasp.
"Seriously?" Alex says and Tobin looks back at the striker to see her pointing at Tobin's suitcase, "Do you want me to finish packing for you? Everything's going to wrinkled like this and no way will you be able to fit everything in here"
Tobin starts laughing at the typical Alex statement and is low-key relieved that the striker offered to pack her suitcase because Tobin hated packing,
"Would you please?" Tobin begs and Alex begins pulling everything out of the bag.
After a few hours, the pair said their goodbyes to Katie and packed their bags into the rent-a-car that Tobin had gotten.
Tobin glances at Alex occasionally while she's driving and she feels Alex doing the same thing. Silence was never awkward whenever they were together. They didn't really need to be talking 24/7 to be comfortable. Actions speak louder than words, and Tobin felt as though their love for each other was so profound that it didn't need words to be expressed or remembered.
"Are you nervous for camp?" Alex asks suddenly, and Tobin glances over to see the striker fiddling with her shoelace.
"I'm always a bit nervous at first, but it goes away once I see everyone" Tobin confesses and Alex nods slightly.
"I don't know why I'm so nervous, I haven't been this nervous since my first camp" She tells the midfielder and Tobin ponders this statement momentarily.
"Is it because of me?" She questions boldly. She can feel Alex's eyes on her and she turns to meet the gaze.
"Honestly, yes," Alex begins and Tobin furrows her brow. "What if things are weird between the team? Are we even going to tell them? Do you think that when we're down on the pitch, our chemistry will still be the same?" She rambles off, and Tobin could definitely tell she was nervous now.
