___________________________Tobin's POV;
Kelley had no idea whatsoever about Alex and Servando's split, and Tobin wasn't sure if Alex even wanted her to know. Tobin wasn't sure if Alex wanted anybody to know that her and Servando were over. Sure, Tobin know Alex was hers, but everyone else didn't & that bothered Tobin to no end. She did a good job of keeping a chill attitude about their pending relationship. They weren't even official yet, and Tobin had no reason to be annoyed that Alex refused to be public about everything that's happened, but she was and she couldn't help it.
"Are you guys ready yet?" Tobin yells, spinning around on the kitchen barstool.
"Be patient, Tobin! Not everyone can get ready as fast as you!" Kelley pouts emerging from Tobin's room rocking a short red dress. "How do I look?" Kelley finishes, looking in the mirror in the hallway.
"You look like a total babe" Tobin laughs, as she examines Kelley's slim fitting outfit.
"I know" Kelley replies, taking a seat by Tobin at the counter.
"Now we wait another hour for Alex" Tobin laughs, looking down at her watch to see they're already behind schedule.
Tobin figured Alex was taking a long time on purpose. She knew Alex wasn't really looking forward to going to the club. There was a strong chance that Servando might be there, and the thought of Alex's ex scared Tobin more than the thought of Kelley trying to hook her up with random girls.
"Tobs," Kelley begins & the midfielder can feel her gaze on her.
"What's up?" She replies, turning her head to look at the defender.
"Why isn't Alex wearing her wedding ring? Is everything okay between her and Serv?" She asks innocently.
Tobin can't help but feel anxious at Kelley's questioning. She didn't know what Alex wanted her to say & she didn't want to spill the beans before the striker was ready. But she felt horrible lying to her friend.
"I'm not exactly su-" Tobin starts shakily, but then she sees Alex emerge from the hall in a tight dark blue dress that hugged her figure and all the right places. And whatever Tobin was about to say totally vanished from her mind & was replaced by thoughts of how badly she wanted to rip that dress right off the younger girl.
"Do I look alright?" Alex asks shyly, walking closer to the pair.
Tobin feels her breath hitch in her throat at Alex's raspy voice. She's asking if she looks alright?! She looks God sent! She looks so breathtaking that Tobin couldn't even get a response out. She feels Alex's eyes scan down her body and smirk playfully.
"Alex, you look like my mom" Kelley says wide eyed, and Tobin is confused at her comment.
"What?" Tobin laughs, and so does Alex.
"Not like my real mom! But it's like a way of saying you give me life or you look super hot" Kelley explains, and both Tobin and Alex let out an "Oh" in unison.
Kelley gets up and darts to the door as her heels click against the ceramic tile.
Tobin waits for Alex and walks beside her. While Kelley is making her way out of the apartment and not paying attention to them, the midfielder snakes her arm around Alex's waist and pulls her side against her own. She brings her lips close to Alex's ear and whispers, "If mom is a compliment, then you're a total milf"Alex laughs bashfully at Tobin's comment and shoves her jokingly. "Get your mind out of the gutter, Tobs" The striker says, shaking her head.
The pair meet up with Kelley outside the apartment building. As she's standing outside of Alex's car.
