As Cain flew across the sky on Kaisel he looked out over the city he just left, the city was burning, smoke rising from the sky, this was an image he had burned into his mind, because it was one that was a common nightmare for him, the scenarios where Mephisto and the other hell lords all win.

"It will be glorious," said Mephisto as he smiled.

Across the nine rings of hell many demon kings smiled at the thought of what it would be like when they finally defeat Shadow Rider, and turn his home into their personal play ground .

Kaisel flew across the sky and landed at a temple where the portal to Outworld was, the portal that Shao Khan would come out of.

With a bolt of lightning, Raiden appeared, "so how'd the back alley devil deal go?" asked Cain.

"I've come up with a solution," said Raiden.

"As long as it doesn't involve water down Mephisto," said Cain.

Another dragon crashed into the ground and from it came Liu Kang.

"I give that dramatic entrance a four, Raidens get's a five honestly," said Cain.

"What?" asked Raiden.

"Never mind," said Cain.

"Liu I told you to stay put while I cut off Shao Khans head," said Cain.

"I will end Shao Khan," said Liu Kang angrily.

"I'm sure with a clearer head, you could," said Cain as he disappeared and Liu Kang felt his knees give out as Cain reappeared behind him having kicked his knees right in the joints, not enough to break anything, but definitely enough to get the point across.

"Your not focusing Liu Kang, you should be able to sense my aura even if I can't be seen, smelt, or heard, it's the one weakness of Stealth," said Cain.

"Now, Raiden, state your plan, and if I still don't like it, I'm sticking to the current plan stab Shao Khan in the fucking eyes," said Cain.

"Shao Khan can only fuse Outworld with Earthrealm if he wins Mortal Kombat, but if he didn't win and the gods decree was disobeyed," said Raiden.

"We're basing this on, the elder gods noticing their rules being broken, actually it might work, if gods get very pissed when you don't follow their rules, or you bother them, so if we let Shao Khan fuse the realms it might work," said Cain.

"But I'm still going to kill him, he, Quan Chi, and Sheng Tsung have pissed me off even more than Mephisto, plus, I want his shadow in my army," said Cain.

"This is madness," growled Liu Kang, Cain snapped his fingers and shadow chains held him down as Iron and Greed were summoned.

"Make sure they don't interfere," Cain ordered his two shadows.

The pair bowed their heads, Greed held down Liu Kang, and Iron just dropped his shield on Raiden.

Cain approached the portal as Shao Khan stepped out, "Shadow Rider, come to bend the knee?" asked Shao Khan arrogantly.

"Bow to you? No, I'm gonna kill you!" Cain said as he summoned his daggers.
