Alright so a limit I thought up for Magiks powers since it's said she can transport herself and others anywhere across, time, space, and even the multiverse, is that Magik is limited to the multiverse she's in, in 616 Illyana could open a portal to any where in the 616 universe, as well as to any universe within the marvel multiverse, but she can't go outside that multiverse, it applies if she ends up in other omniverses, she can go to different universes within each omniverse or multiverse she resides in, but she can't go to another omniverse that's why she couldn't just portal herself, Cain, Wanda and Ororo out of Mortal Kombat and back to Marvel, at best she'd end up in one of the other Mortal Kombat timelines.
Cain fell on the couch in the Avengers living room, he was still exhausted from his battle with Abaddon.
"So what now?" asked Magik.
"Wait till Kang sends us somewhere else I guess," said Cain.
"Can't any of you magic a portal home, like can't Magik literally make portals to other dimensions and universes?" asked Seth.
"Yes, but we're not in our omniverse, we're in a completly alien world where the gods designed the many omniverses, I can open portals but I'm limited by Multiverse, I can travel across the multiverse I'm in, and despite this being where every omniverse stems from it's not connected to any of them, when I open a portal," said Magik as she summoned her soul sword and sliced open a portal and it was one to the Xavier institute.
"I can only open portals to a place here on this earth, I can't get to our universe, or even to the other one we were in," said Magik.
"Magik has incredible powers, with both her magic and her mutation, but she still has her limits, like anyone, despite what Magnus and Scott would usually have you believe mutants are not gods," said Cain.
Everyone just looked at Storm, than back at Cain, "she's the exception," said Cain.
"Why do you all insist on calling me a goddess," said Ororo.
"Ororo you literally screamed out feel the wrath of the goddess before making a massive hurricane that sent Outworld soldiers to their demise," said Cain.
"You aren't limited by any specific type of storm, you are able to manipulate cosmic storms, magical storms, even storms on other planets, and in other universes," said Illyana.
"Not to mention you can breath in space, underwater, can make the same electromagnetic force fields my father can," said Wanda.
"Ororo, your mind can't be read or controlled by Jean or Xaviers telepathy thinks to that shield around your mind, you gave Scott and Jean a perfect wedding day with a clear spring day, in the middle of Winter, it's easier to talk about the things you can't do, because I can't think of a single thing you can't do," said Cain.
"I'd say your the strongest woman in the X-Men, if Jean, Rachel, and Hope weren't being possessed by the Phoenix in some form at times," said Cain.
"I'd still put my money on Storm being able to give the Phoenix a decent fight," said Illyana.
"You two done?" asked Seth.
"Yes, just had to make a point," said Cain.
"More like had to glaze Storm," said Abel.
There was a shake in the Earth, and the six marvel heroes readied their powers and weapons heading for the window where they saw a temple rising from the sea.
