Chapter 31

There are two Hercules and Two Iron Body Monarchs in this story, the dc and marvel ones, Marvel Hercules is an ally to Zarathos and Cain, DC Hercules is an enemy.

No one was more surprised at the reveal of Igris's true self than the children of Cain, why wouldn't they, Igris guarded them many times over their childhood, and they never realized he was a she.

They all just decided to blame the armor and the helmet for making Igris look and sound like a male.

DC Omniverse

Every version of Wonder Woman and the Amazons of Thymysciara looked at Igris in shock, and fear, none more so than Diana's own mother Hippolyta, "sister," Hippolyta whispered as her eyes filled with tears remembering when her island was attacked by Hercules, the Monarch of the Iron Body and his monstrous humanoids, many Amazons were killed or enslaved, she abandoned many of her sisters, one of those was Igris, her second in command, a young and beautiful Amazon with hair red like blood, Hercules planned to make her his personal whore, until she fought back, and she died.

That's when he came, the Shadow Monarch, he looked upon the dead amazons in pity and with one word, they returned as his shadow soldiers, and Igris slaughtered many of Hercules army, and wounded the monarch himself sending him running.

Igris swore herself to the Shadow Monarch, and she became Knight Commander Igris the Bloodred, and she never looked back at her sisters as she left with her fellow shadow amazons.

Hippolyta never spoke of these lost Amazons, instead she had them erased not even taught about or remembered, the only one who did was her.

Mortal Kombat

Igris is covered in her armor again and she takes her helmet and puts it on, "I hope your treatment of me doesn't change my king," Igris said bowing her head to Cain.

"Of course not my faithful Shadow, this doesn't change, besides I should've figured out you were a girl, only a girl could've kicked my ass that hard and given me a headache that bad," said Cain smiling.

"Careful my lord, I don't think your limbo queen, Chaos queen, storm goddess, or spider queen would like you saying that," said Igris and Cain could hear her smirk in her voice.

Cain looked over at his former lover, teammate, and teacher and they were giving him a tread lightly look.

Cain got a bad feeling all of a sudden, he saw Shao Khan appear behind Kung Lao, and Cain disappeared in a burst of speed and appeared right as Shao Khan was about to grab Kung Laos neck, and he punched him right back to his throne.

"You are as petty of a loser, as Mephisto, and I didn't think that was possible," said Cain.

Kung Lao was breathing hard grabbing his neck, "calm down Kung Lao, hear drink this, it's a potion for calming your nerves," said Cain as he handed Kung Lao a vial and he quickly drank it feeling a warm feeling of peace and calm come over him.

"Well if your not good with the rules I already set up, I'm flexible enough, one more battle you and me, king to king," Cain said.

"Fine boy, you shall learn the power of the ruler of Outworld, Shao Khan the conqueror," growled Shao Khan.

"I fight a lot of people who call themselves conquerors, ask Kang he'll tell you exactly what I do to guys like you, then I fight a force of nature capable of devouring entire world, and I still have time to stop an invasion from the depths of Hell itself, you are nothing but my nine to five at this point," said Cain as he pulled out his daggers.

Shao Khan just growled taking out his hammer and he tried to squash the boy only for him to disappear and reappear behind Shao Khan, Cain kicked the conquerors legs sending him to his knees Cain then tried to cut the  conquerors head off but he blocked the dagger blades with his wrist armor and he tried punching the Shadow Rider but the Rider just moved and dodged the attack.
