"Yes liege," said the former Ant King as he disappeared.
"What are you sending him to get those three for?" asked Jade.
"I need more generals for my future Outworld troops," said Cain.
"Now, while we wait, where the hell were you two?" Cain asked Liu Kang and Raiden.
"We were attempting to get the aid of the Elder Gods," said Raiden.
"Let me guess, they did nothing," said Cain, the elder gods of his world were just as uncaring to the plights of humanity as they were here, now Cain didn't fault the gods, nor did he hate them, well at least some, he despised the elder god Chthon for taking his wife Helena, also known as the Hunter and trapping her in his accursed book, the Darkhold, but he did after all work for many gods of the Underworld, Hela, Anubis, Hades, whatever kept him away from Mephisto, he knew Gods had rules they must follow no matter how benevolent they were, and one of those rules was, let humanity figure it all out themselves.
Oshtur, Nyx, and Gaea
"At least the boy understand we can't hold humanities hands all the time," said Oshtur.
"But still we could probably do more to help and assist heroes like Shadow Rider, and Spider-Man," said Gaea.
"We've done more than enough by not having the boy put down when he was revealed as the new Shadow Monarch, as was the decision made by the Rulers," said Oshtur.
"Not all of us," growled Gaea who herself was a ruler.
"Careful how you talk Oshtur, that's my son in there, and if he considers Cain his son, that makes him my grandson," Nyx said.
Nyx wasn't a loving mother, but she cared for her children, she wouldn't have bothered threatening Zeus for attacking Hypnos otherwise, not being able to save Zarathos from Mephisto was one of the hardest things Nyx had to deal with but invading another cosmic beings realm was also forbidden to even the Elder Gods.

"So you failed to get the gods help, what do you plan to do now?" asked Cain.
"I've climbed to Heaven, now I must descend the depths, I'll attempt to ally us with Quan Chi and his realm," said Raiden.
Cain just slapped his forehead, "remember how I said once I'd call you out for a bad decision, the only thing worse than this plan is actually trying to make peace with Shao Khan," said Cain.
"You want to make a deal, with a being, that I already determined is a very watered down version of Mephisto, because as much as I hate to give Mephisto any credit, he did go blow for blow against Galactus, an entity capable of eating worlds," said Cain.
"Would you lose?" asked Liu Kang.
"Nah, I'd win," said Cain.

"Arrogant little brat, you'll learn your place soon enough," said Mephisto to himself.

"Regardless, this is a bad idea, he's a deal maker, he will ask for a price that can't be truly paid, like Abaddon did with Abel, like Mephisto has done with my father and grandmother, you will have to pay a heavy price Raiden, and seeing as this asshole seems to have the same obsession with me that Mephisto does, he'll probably ask for me," said Cain.

Beru dropped the three outworld generals at his masters feet, and each shadow brought the Outworld foot soldiers Cain held up his hand, "Arise," he said and a massive army of Outworld shadows began to rise from their bodies.
""Your idea is mad, so I have no choice to but to now take matters into my own hands in full, and end this war, like I should have done when I first arrived in this world," said Cain as his eyes glowed purple.
Raiden just bowed his head as Cain walked passed him and he went to the Netherealm.
"Do you have a plan Cain?" asked Wanda.
Rip open Shao Khans throat and spill his blood upon the earth," was all Cain said.
"So we're just going in guns blazing," said Illyana.
"No, I'm going in guns blazing, the rest of you are staying here, including you Liu Kang," said Cain.
"I will end this fight," growled Liu Kang.
"No, you'll end up dead, you don't go into battle with raw anger alone, it distracts you, and get's you killed, stay here and look after everyone while I take my army, and put an end to Shao Khan, and Abaddon," said Cain as he turned climbing onto Kaisel all his shadows returning to his shadow.
The wyvern took off leaving the surviving defenders of Earthrealm alone with the Blaze clones, and the three mutants.
