Roxy sat on the stairs looking out the window at the shattered moon in the sky, a moon she now knew her demonic grandfather had shattered leaving this planet, in the living room her mother, adopted mother, adopted aunt, Oscar, Weiss, Yang, Blake, and Maria all sat down, and Roxy looked over at her father, a bottle of whiskey at his side as he looked out the window.

Roxy got up and walked over to her father, she knew her father wasn't an alcoholic like her adopted uncle, but he drank when he was stressed out, and she could guess this whole situation was a massive stress for him.

"Storms cleared up for now, if it stays clear we can leave by morning," Cain said.

"That's good," said Roxy.

"Yeah, but I don't have a good feeling about this place, I sense something dark Roxy," said Cain.

"Dad, are you ok, ever since we learned about the true history of Salem, you've been a little distant," said Roxy.

"I'm fine Roxy, just a combination of stress, exhaustion, and worry, once we get away from this place and get somewhere safe I'll feel a lot better," said Cain.

"Go tell everyone to get some sleep, I'll try and wake you all up before sunrise," said Cain.

Roxy turned around and left looking back briefly to see her father taking a drink of the whiskey.

Roxy wasn't worried about her fathers drinking like she would be her uncles, he had a healing factor that prevented him from getting drunk, which made Roxy wonder why he drank when he was stressed if he couldn't even get drunk, maybe the alcohol somehow still numb the stress.

"Hey guys, dad said we should get some rest, we're going to head out early tomorrow," said Roxy as she walked in to the living room.

"Thank goodness," said Blake as everyone got into a place to sleep, Petra set up hammocks made of webs for everyone and they laid down.

"This is comfy for webs," said Summer.

"Yeah, my brother Peter and I when we needed to rest during patrols we just make some web hammocks and just lay down," said Petra.

Everyone went to sleep.

"You know, I've always wondered the same as Roxy, why does dad stress drink if he can't get drunk," said Rin.

"Because drinking is a great stress reliever kiddo," said Shura as she downed yet another can of beer.

"Shura could you not drink so excessively in front of children?" asked Yuri.

"You don't have to baby me Yuri I'm a grown woman," said Shura.

"She's right Yuri," said Shiro.

As the sun began to peak over the horizon, Cain stood up, "alright kids, time to get up," Cain said walking in.

Everyone was getting up sluggishly, "are you feeling better dad?" asked Roxy.

"A little, let's get out of here," said Cain.

Everyone went outside and were setting Yangs motorcycle bumblebee up with the trailer so they could ride out town, and hopefully get to Argus faster.

"Can we just go back to bed?" asked Oscar.

"If we're all so tired, maybe we should also make breakfast," said Blake.

"Then you better not expect the moms here to make it young lady, it's up to you to make your own food," said Petra tiredly.

Summer and Raven nodding just as exhausted, "never mind," the cat Faunus said.
