Muhammad's POV

My head was pounding as I looked at the computer in front of me. It was so bad that the pictures were blurring as I tried to stare at it.

"What are you looking at?" Hussein asks as he walked into the hotel room with the bag from the pharmacy.

"Houses." I mutter as I rub my temple.

"Why? Are you planning on selling the one you have?" He ask as he hands me a pill.

"Probably. Nothing is for sure but I just want to see my options. Maybe somewhere closer to home since I think Madeenah might like that." I grabbed the bottle of water in front of me and swallowed down the pills.

"Why do you want to sell it?" He asks.

"No reason." I say but there is one. Madeenah deserves more. Better.

She probably doesn't know about the house and that's shitty enough. I'll have to tell her though and then maybe suggest moving to another place. Somewhere she chooses, and where she can decide how she wants her house to be. She can practice and put to use all her interior design knowledge. I know she'll love that. Maybe I'll surprise her with it.

But that will have to wait till tomorrow. I definitely won't be able to get home today. I barely get to the bed in the room before I collapse. I haven't felt this sick in a long time and I don't know what brought it on.

"Are you sure you don't want to go to a hospital?" Hussein asks.

"Nah. I'll be fine by tomorrow. We'll leave then." I mutter.

"Okay. I'll head to my room. Call me if you need anything." He says and waits till I nod before he walks out.

I barely have the energy to lift my arm but I still reach for my phone in my pocket to dial Madeenah and tell her I won't be home.

The ringing sound annoys me but luckily she picks the call early enough.

"Hello." Her soft voice comes through the phone.

"Hi baby." A smile creeps its way onto my face for some reason. Just hearing her voice calms me.

"Are you on your way back?" She asks. Her voice still soft but with tension underlying it.

"No. I won't be coming back today actually."

"Why?"

"I think I am coming down with something. Hussein went to the pharmacy for me so I'll be good by tomorrow. I just can't make it today." I explain.

"Are you okay? Did you go to the hospital? What did the doctor say?" She rushes.

"Calm down baby. I'm fine but I didn't go to the doctor. It's probably just malaria or something." I smile at her worrying.

"Are you sure? I can get on the train now if you need me." She says.

"No you don't have to. I'll be back tomorrow. I just can't make the distance today."

"Okay. But call me if anything happens okay?" Her voice turns stern but it doesn't have that much of an effect since she's so cute. I can imagine her pouting.
