A/N
I wasn't planning on updating this soon, my exams take up a lot of my time, but i have had many messages asking me to update and I don't want to take too long. I've been slowly writing when I have breaks from studying. I was planning on having at least many chapters completed but I am updating ahead of schedule. I will be posting three new chapters to tide you guys over for a bit. My exams still have about two weeks left before it's over so hopefully after those two weeks I will be more consistent. So sorry for the long wait but my exams had to come first.

Madeenah's POV

We pull up to a big house in a gated community. The black, tall gates opened to reveal a big driveway. There are lights leading up to the front door of the white two-story house. All the lights are on inside the house, the windows giving me a glimpse inside, but the car is tinted so I can't gauge much.

I am still staring when Ya Muhammad gets out of the car and clears his throat to indicate to me I should get down. I had forgotten to put back my shoes, so I just pick them up, dangling them from my fingers as I slid out of the car. Without the boost the heels gave me, Ya Muhammad is back to towering over me.

I slowly start walking towards the front door, barefoot, while taking in the environment. I can see a garden behind the house, and it already seems big from what I can see.

Ya Muhammad passes me quietly as I'm looking around. He gets to the door, and I can see him putting in a key and opening the big brown door. He waits for me as I catch up before swinging the door open.

"Enter with a salaam." He says to me as I look into a foyer.

I slowly step inside muttering a salaam as I take in the house. My new home.

The first thing I see is the big, curved staircase in front of us. The staircase is white and so is the rest of the foyer, but it is carpeted, probably for Inayah's sake. The foyer is spacious enough that two cream armchairs and a centrepiece with a fake flower arrangement fit in the corner.

"Mami and Asma did most of the furnishing." He says from behind me as he closes the door.

"It looks good." I say.

To my right there's an open doorway that opens to a large sitting room. I can't see it much because the lights are off, but I can see the huge TV right in the center.

"It's late. Let's go up." He says to me.

I glance back at him, "Okay."

He lets me go up and follows behind me. The stairs curve when we reach the second floor. There's like five doors that I can see but he goes towards one at the end.

"This is your room." He says

I enter the room and find the light and switch it on. A smile creeps up on my face as I look at the room. It is a pink and white room, sort of similar to my old one. There is a huge bed in the middle of the room, a desk under a big window to my right and my favourite thing already, a white bookshelf. It has like those princess aesthetic and all my books are arranged on it.

"You should get some sleep. Today has been long." I turn to see Ya Muhammad standing stiff at the door before he turns to leave.

He's leaving? What?

"Wait." I say and he stops and turns to me giving me all of his attention and I find that I can't say anything.

"What is it?" He asks.
