The confrontation

Payal's POV:

I took Ishu to my room. I managed to get Ishu from there before Anu says something far worse in her anger. I need to talk with her. She's scaring Ishu more. Ishu came out of her closet after changing her dress. I gave her my t shirt and shorts.
I took the bandage and ointment from the box, a maid gave me when Ishu went to change her dress.
" Sit down. " I said in a firm tone. She sat down on the bed immediately. I removed the bandage and placed a new one. Luckily water didn't get through as Anu feared.

" Payu, I am sorry. " Ishu said crying while wrapping her arms around my waist. I has tears in my eyes as I hugged her in that position for a while and then sat next to her.
" How are you feeling? " I asked her as she lay on my lap.
" I am angry with her. She scolds me and treats like a child. She's mean,Payu. She's scary. " She said as I caress her hair.
" I don't think so. She cares for you more . Her way of showing is hurting you badly. You need to talk about it with her. " I said as I gently caressed her hair.
" As if she will listen. " She mumbled lowly.
" What? " I asked her
She didn't reply me. When I looked at her, I saw that she's already sleeping. I adjusted the pillow and laid next to her.
Sleep took over me.

Anamika's POV:

" Where the hell was Ishi? " I asked the maid who took her ointment and bandages.
" She's in my room. " Riya answers me as she waves off the maid to go away.
I sighed and immediately rushed towards her room to get Ishi.
" She's sleeping with payal. Let them be. " Riya stopped me.
" But why? She's my wife. She should be with me. " I said as I feel jealous.
" So now she's your wife, huh? How can you treat her like that? " Riya asked me in a taunting way .
" As if you're any good. " I replied as I walk past her.
" Ana, you're scaring her on daily basis. You need to stop. " Riya said as we stopped at the bar I set up in the house.
That is what I want. I just rolled my eyes and took a bottle of red wine.
" My reception party is in two days. You're coming, right? " Riya asked me as she silently pour herself the alcohol.
" Hmm. I will. I couldn't help but feel like betraying Ansh. I let Payal back in my life as sister in law. Ishi adore Payal. You're lovestruck . I don't know where to vent out. "
" Well, you're taking it with Ishu. Payal didn't do anything wrong. She broke up with Ansh after dating him for a while. Have you ever thought from her point? Why she end things with him? Did she even like him? " Riya asked me angrily.
" Ansh was everything to me. You know about the lengths I go for him. He said he love Payal and she too love him. I believe him. Payal was hesitant but she agreed. " I said as I saw Payal coming towards us.
" I agreed because Ansh tried to commit suicide. Anu, you thought you were doing the right thing for him, for me and for all but sadly that's not the case. By agreeing with you, I end up miserable with no one by my side.
Anyways nothing good will happen with talking about it. I came to talk about Ishu. " Payal stood in front of me.
" What about her? " I asked her coldly .
" She is hurt and I can't watch her suffer .  You better behave before I kick your ass. " Payal warned me as she grabbed the glass from me.
" What the " I started to yell but she stopped me.
" Shut the fuck up, Anu. What do you think of yourself? You're not going to get away from arguments by shouting. Yes, Ansh is dead and you are feeling guilty for letting me in your life because of it. I get it. I totally get it.
But what is Ishu's fault? Huh?
You know what. You and your twin brother are not different. You both are control possessive freaks. Just to satisfy your ego, you will go to any extent. "
" Payal " I glared at her.
" What? Truth hurts, doesn't it? You blackmailed her into marrying you, then You forced yourself on that kid, Anu. She's only 20. Ishu didn't deserve it. Do you even ask her if she wanted it? You didn't stop there. You started to control her life. From the dress she wear to the food she eat, it's you who decide. How is it fair for her?

She let you do whatever you want with her. Do you think it's because of the fear?
No, definitely no. Ishu is tolerating everything you do because she believe in marriages. She takes the oath seriously.
You scold her at every chance you get. You're mean not gentle and has a cold aura. She's still in college and you, your lifestyle everything is new for her. So obviously she will make mistakes. Can't you be polite in telling her that? Why you have to be rude all the time? " Payal asked me as we stared at each other.

" It's because of you. I don't want Ishi to be like you, Payal. Ansh loved you insanely but you broke his heart as if it's nothing. His love for you didn't let him live. He end up killing himself in front of me. Love only brings pain.
Love, care and being gentle are all weakness. It will give courage to Ishi to leave me but power and fear of me will never let her leave. Ever. Ansh was right. " I said as Payal shook her head.
" You're unbelievable, Anu. Do you really feel nothing when Ishu cries because of you, your words and actions. Doesn't it ever bothered you? " Payal asked me as I walked away.
" I don't think I need to explain myself to you. Riya, take your wife to my room. You both can sleep there. I am going to sleep with my biwi ."
" And Payal, I am letting this go for you. No matter how guilty I feel, I don't go back on my words. I will be civil with you. " With that said, I went to find Riya's room.

I locked the door and made my way to Ishi. She looks like a cute little baby. Her cheeks has dried tears. It made me feel bad about myself.
Yes, it bothers me a lot when Ishi cries of me. I can't explain the feeling I feel whenever Ishi was hurt. But I have to do it if not, I will end up losing her.

Third person's POV:

" So, what do you think ? Should I attend your reception party to see your priceless face or wait until I get my Ishika here with me? " RD asked the photo of Payal.
He then turned towards his goons." This Sunday , we will definitely get a chance to kidnap my Ishika. So, let's celebrate that.
We are going to have hectic days in the coming days. So, be prepared. Whoever get me my ishika, will get lifetime settlement. So ,come on boys. " He then went to his house.
" I have been waiting for you. " His sister Naina said as she stood up from the sofa.
" You're pregnant, you should take care of yourself.. " He scolded her gently as he started to fill the plate with food.
" Here, eat. " He feed her .
" Can you come with me to the reception? " She asked him with hopeful eyes.
" I will try, sis. " He said as he thought of yet another plan. " Ishika " He sighed inwardly.
