Family Curses

The First Generation are what we call the Keepers of the first civilisations. They were and are the oldest Keepers to exist, at least the ones that are still alive are. What differentiates them from newer (to them) Keepers are their characteristics and abilities. Like the Keepers who had the wings of the continents these unique features were cut off and burned when they were colonised for them to blend in with humans. However unlike those who had the wings of the continents they grew and came back the majority of the time. 

An ability of the First Generation is the fact that they are given curses alongside their whims. What separates whims from these curses are the fact that they can pass these down to their descendants. An example is the [RESTRICTED] family's "cat" curse which also changes some physical aspects of its members as well as turn into a cat (used to be big cats but now its members if they use this curse choose to use domesticated cat breeds to turn into). 

These curses were dubbed as so as they (for colonised Keepers) caused a lot of pain, torture and experimentation to be done to them. 

It has been observed that if one Keeper descended from two First Generations has a child only one of their inherited curses will pass down, studies are being attempted by WHO to try and find the determining factor.
