Like many other animals, Keepers evolve over time to better adapt to their environment.
One example of this are the Keepers of the land of China. It was known that during the warring states period and throughout Chinese history in general that larger states ate or absorbed the smaller states. This is something that has been said in the other world and is literal in ours.
This is why every Keeper born in the land of China after 221 BCE has evolved to have more sharper and serrated teeth which are similar to shark teeth or serrated knives to make eating other Keepers easier.
Note: Taiwan has sworn that she has not consumed another Keeper while China smiles when asked.
Mixed reactions come from when you ask their states or special administrative regions.
