At one point while considering how age would work I had the idea to have age revolve around the development of a country.

The way this would work is when a country is developed they would become a physical adult, when they are upper middle income/developing would be a physical teenager, when they are low middle income/developing would be a kid and if it is undeveloped/low income it would be a toddler/little kid.

I thought this would be an interesting idea and create some interesting dynamics. Particularly with China and America where America would treat China like a kid (China is an upper middle income country he would be a teenager physically and the US being developed he would be an adult physically) which frustrates the asian since he is older in a sense of existence.

I disregarded this because of how some relationships would work and since development standards change over time and are different in some places (Bhutan) and how that would work like would someone be an adult then when the standard changes become a teenager or kid?
