Jason's pov

I wake up when someone kicks my boot. "Don't do that." Merle mutters, walking out of the tent. Apparently in my sleep, we were a lot closer than I meant to be. My arm draped over her chest. No wonder he got mad. She's still asleep so I get up and join the other guys outside. "Hey guys, can I borrow a radio. I gotta tell my family I'm not comin' back so they don't worry." I say. "We don't have it. Stupid Merle got ticked and stomped it." Shane mutters, glaring at the almost bald man. "Shut your face." He growls then stomps over to me. "And don't you ever lay a hand on my sister again." He growls, a finger in my face. I shove it away. I can tell he's gonna be a problem. "Coming from the asshole hitting on my sister a while back." I gripe. He wants to punch me. I can tell. "I know you're lying." He whispers. He knows?! How does he know?! I try to act like I don't know what he meant. Daryl seems to be the more level headed of the Dixon brothers. "I'm gonna have to run back to my farm and tell 'em then." I say. "Don't expect us to be here when you get back!" Merle grumbles. "Shut up Merle. We'll still be here but hurry up." He replies. "Thanks. Oh wait. Could she come with me?" All three men stare at me. "No." Daryl and Merle say at the same time. Ugh. Just then she wakes up. I walk back to our shared tent. "Hey honey sleep well?" I ask. She smiles and nods. "Where's my good morning kiss?" She asks, making me smile. But then I remember her brothers. "I don't know. Your brothers don't like that sorta thing." I mutter, stuffing my hands in my pockets. She shrugs and stands up. "I don't care what they like and don't like. They don't own me." She gripes. I want to kiss her as bad as she wants me to. I glance over my shoulder. They're bent over a map, distracted. Perfect. I hold her hands and kiss her lips.

Daryl's pov

My jaw drops and I tap Merle's shoulder. He looks up. I point at the two kissing. His face is redder than a tomato. He grabs Glenn's bat and stomps over to them.

Jason's pov

Somebody grabs my shoulder, pulling me away from her. Merle! He throws me to the ground "I thought I told you not to touch her!!" He yells, raising a bat. I block my head with my hands. "Stop it Merle!" She cries. He swings the bat and I roll to the side and stand up. "What the hell!" Shane gasps as he and Daryl run over. "He was kissin' you!" Merle shouts. "And I was kissin' him back!" She cries. "Why were ya doin' somethin' as stupid as that?!" He yelps, annoying the hell outta me. "Because I love him!!" She screams. She loves me!? The camp is suddenly silent after she said that. I stare at her shocked. She loves me!? "I'll kill you!!" Merle yells. I scream as he tackles me to the ground and punches me in the face. I throw him off me and pull out my pistol. "Don't move!" I growl, sweating. He's about to run at me again when I pull the trigger. Crap!! I never reloaded it!! It's still empty! He pushes me against the tree, the gun falling from my hands as he punches me again. All this just for kissing her?! I hear the sound of a gun go off. Blood pours from Merle's shoulder! He spins around shocked. "Y-You shot me!" He gapes, shocked. She nods and drops the gun. "Now leave him alone!" She yells. She waves for me to go to her tent so I do. "Your face is bleeding." She says. No duh. "I can't believe you shot Merle." I gasp. She just rolls her eyes. "It was a warning shot, barely grazed the skin." She mutters, laying back down. "When are we going back to your parents?" She asks, catching me off guard. "You can't go. Your brothers said no." I say. She looks at me annoyed. "You do know I don't always listen to them right?" She gripes sarcastically. I shrug. "So you are coming?" She nods and sits back up, kissing me on the lips, her hands on my shoulders. She caught me by surprise this time but I still kiss her back.

*later*

She puts her gun in the waistband of her jeans and slings her bow over her back. I reload my pistol which I should've done a while ago. "You ain't goin'!" Merle growls. "Yes I am." She says, calmly walking over to me and holding my hand. "Tell her it's not safe!" Merle cries. "I never go against my woman." I say. His eyes go wide, his face red. "She isn't your woman!" He shouts. "Yes, she is." I snap. He gets in my face again and I'm ready this time to kick his ass. She pulls me back. "Let's get goin'." She says. "We'll finish this later, cowboy." He yells as we walk away. "Dumbass redneck." I mutter under my breath.
