Jason's pov

She's been crying in her tent all day. I hope she isn't mad at me since it was sorta my fault. I wal in her tent. "Hey, sweetheart you aren't mad at me are you?" I ask. She uncovers her eyes and I sit beside her. "I'm not angry. Anger makes you stupid and stupidity gets you killed." She says. "Those are words to live by." I say, putting an arm around her. "Yeah, that's what Michonne said, a friend of mine." She says. "Is she still alive?" I ask. "I'm sure of it. She was, I mean is the most badass girl of the apocalypse." She says, staring at her hands. That book I saw earlier sits beside her. "What's that?" I ask, pointing at it. She smiles and laces her fingers with mine. "That's my Dixon diary." "You have a diary?" She nods. "Someone I really love is written about in there." "Are you talkin' about me baby?" She smiles. "Maybe." She whispers, kissing me. I deepen it, my hand on the back of her neck. "You wanna read it?" She says. "Maybe." I whisper, pushing her back.

Miranda's pov

Would someone get married in an apocalypse? You never expect to find love. But I did. And it's not what I had with Glenn. "We should probably get back out there." I say. He blinks several times. "Seein' spots here." He mumbles, rubbing his eyes. I smile and rest my hand on his leg. He lowers his hands looking at me. "We can read the diary later." I say. We join the others outside the tent. "What's going on guys?" I ask. "Planning our next move. We need to find shelter like a house. I'm tired of sleeping in tents on the ground." Daryl says. "What about trying to find Merle?!" I gasp, shocked. Daryl sighs and sets the map down. "The chances of Merle still.... Being alive.... Are really low." "Really low doesn't mean none! You can't just give up. I know my brother! He's a survivor. He's alive, I know he is!" I cry, running to the tent and crying. Jason sits beside me a second later. "Daryl's right honey. We shouldn't waste resources. He's most likely not still alive." He says. "That's not helping." I mutter. He sighs and hugs me. "It's not supposed to. Remember you have to be harsh in this world. Darlin', if he is alive I'll do whatever I cab to find him for you." "That means a lot since I know you hate him." I say. He smiles. "I'll do anything for my girl." He kisses my forehead.

*nightfall*

I'm awoken to heavy foot falls. Uh oh, what now? Jason's still asleep, his arm around me. I sneak over to the tent's opening. It's just Daryl guarding. Damn him. Scared for nothing.

Jason's pov

I know I said I'd look for Merle but personally I hope like hell he's dead. Not that I'd ever tell her that of course. Carol takes over guarding and we've moved into the bed in the rv so I go to hit the hay. My exhaustion passed the breaking point. She's awake writing in that diary. I sit beside her in the bed. Hey baby, what ya writing?" She closes the book. "Nothing. Just about today. Like I always do." She mutters. "Are you alright?" I ask, resting a hand on her arm. She lays down. "Yeah, just this world. I'm sick of losing people. I want to find Merle." "Don't worry, we'll find him." I hug her as she cries. Daryl screams!! Her eyes go wide and we run out the door. "Daryl! You scared the shit outta me!" She gripes. Daryl stands by Merle and some girl with a sword. They both stand beside 2 guys the age of my dad, 2 blonde girls, and a brown haired girl. "What's going on?" I ask. She hugs me tight. "It's Michonne and her group!" She cries. I'm not sure who they are. "That's Dale, Hershel, Andrea, Amy, Maggie, and Michonne." She says, pointing to each one. She runs to Michonne and hugs her. "I found him in the gutter, drunk. I'm surprised he isn't dead." She says. "Merle, I'm so glad you're okay!" She cries. "Me too, Squirt. Now where's that God damned cowboy." He growls. "Uh oh." I mutter. "I'll have you know he looked for you. He tried to find you. Where did you go?" She says. I smile. "Just like Michonne said. I got drunk in a gutter. I don't know why walkers didn't try to get me."

*later*

"So you tried to find me?" Merle asks, scaring the crud out of me. I didn't know he was behind me. I turn around, my eyes instantly landing on the stump where his hand used to be. "You want the truth?" He nods. "I just told her that to make her feel better. I was hoping you'd be dead." I growl. "What do you think if I tell Squirt the truth?" He says with a smirk. "Stop calling her that!" He just laughs. "Walk. We gotta talk." He says, resting his stumped arm on my shoulders. I pull him off. "I don't think so." I'm gonna hit him where it hurts. "I'm too busy doing your sister." Instantly his eyes flood with rage. I pull out my pistol. "That's right, redneck. You can't stop me none neither." He doesn't move because of my pistol. "You stay away from her!" "Not gonna happen Merle." I say, walking away. I am getting revenge now. I hear a scream and I know who it is! My girl! I run in the direction of the scream and infected has swarmed the camp. One of the blondes is bent over the other. She was bit in the neck. Damn. I find Miranda crying over Dale. I pull her back as an infected stumbles toward her. Instead it gets Dale again. I shoot him and hold her to my chest. Daryl is shooting them with his crossbow. T-Dog is hitting them with an axe. But they're everywhere. Crap! I shoot several more before I'm out of bullets. I've gotta get her somewhere safe. I get her in the rv. "Baby, just stay in here." I say, kissing her. "Don't die." She whimpers, a hand on my cheek. "I won't baby. I won't." I whisper, kissing her again and closing the door. I shoot a few more until they're all dead. The blonde is bent over the other dying blonde. Dale is dead. Sophia is missing. Hershel hugs Maggie. Michonne and Daryl are both breathing hard. I sigh, seeing Dale. "Kill me." He whispers. I nod and shoot him. Then I walk over to the blonde girls whose names have slipped my mind. "We have to take her out." I say. "Get away from me." She hisses. I set my pistol at her side. "When you're ready." I say. "Thanks." I nod and head toward the rv but suddenly Merle grabs my shoulder slamming me against the rv. Shit! I don't have my gun. "Merle get off him!" Michonne cries. "I am so pissed and you are so dead." He growls, looking me right in the eyes. "A hot little gal told me anger makes you stupid and stupidity gets you killed." I grumble, wincing in pain as he presses harder against my throat. "I now know what she was talking about." Michonne smiles. I hear the click of my pistol. I glance down. The blonde girl has come back. Merle stomps her in the head and everyone screams. "You're a real moron. She's got a loaded gun and you just stomped her sister in the head!" I shout. He pushes his arm deeper into my neck. I resist the urge to gag. "What's going on out there?" She calls. "Nothin' baby just stay inside." I say, quickly. "Don't call her that." He snaps. He grabs the gun from the blonde, shoving the barrel into my chest. I sweat from fear. "Walk. We're gonna talk." He whispers. I have to do what he says or he'll shoot me. "Tell her I'll be back soon." Daryl sighs and nods. He probably thinks I won't be but they don't know that this cowboy has a few tricks up his sleeve.
