Miranda's pov

Jason gets back from a supply run with blood on his shirt and I'm terrified. I run over. "Are you okay?" I cry. "I'm fine. Just walkers, hun. Not my blood." He says, breathing heavily. "I wish you'd stop going on supply runs. Someone else can do it." I say. He sighs. "I have to. Not many people here are experienced enough." "I just don't want to lose you Jason!" "Sweetheart you won't lose me!" He gasps, hugging me. I'm just so worried.

*the next day*

He slips into his boots and slings his bow over his shoulder. "Where are you going now?" I gape, exasperated. "Hunting. I gotta get food for us." He says, pausing at the door, staring back at me. I'm worried about him going outside again. He walks over to me. "I'm gonna be fine. Is this still about that nightmare?" He asks. "Sorta." I mumble. He pulls my chin up, kissing me softly. "I'll come back. Don't worry." How can I not worry?! I lay on the couch, a headache from stress. A knock sounds. Michonne walks in. "Hey what's wrong?" She asks. "I'm worried about Jason. He leaves and I'm scared he won't come back." She sits beside me. "He's fine. He's one tough cookie." She says. I laugh at the nickname. She leaves and I stare out the window thinking. Hm, maybe I'll get some payback.

Jason's pov

Me and Daryl get back from hunting and I go to the clinic because of my shoulder. I got shot by a misfired arrow. I know Miranda will freak if she sees this. "Hey can ya keep this under wraps? The wife will freak." I say. Glenn hops off a gurney. "These guys are driving me crazy. I'm fine!" He snaps annoyed. "They're just being thorough." I mutter, laying back. Michonne runs through the door. "Jason, have you seen Miranda?" She asks. "No I just got home. Why?" I ask, slightly worried. "I haven't seen her almost all day." I shakily stand up. Oh please let her be at home. I rush home ignoring the doctor's protests.

Miranda's pov

I land on the other side of the fence with a painful thump. I ignore the pain and walk away. He worries me when he leaves. Now he'll know what it feels like. I find a deer! Holy!! I hide behind a tree and stalk it for a few minutes. "What are you doing?" Someone says. I squeak and spin around. "Just trying to get by. Who are you?" I ask eyeing him suspiciously. He has an untrusting smile. "Same as you." He replies.

Jason's pov

"She's not here!" Daryl cries. My mind's going a mile a minute! "Daryl Michonne you're with me. We're searching outside the wall." I say, completely terrified.

Miranda's pov

"Please leave me be." I say, backing up. He pulls out a gun. I run away. Shit!! I run for a while hearing his heavy footfalls. A walker stumbles out, barely missing me. I quickly knife it and keep running. He grabs me around the waist and I fall, striking my head on a rock and falling unconscious.

*later*

I wake up with a pounding headache and my hands tied down, my weapons gone. "No! No! Please let me go!" I cry, pulling hard. The door opens. Inside walks a man I never thought I'd see again. My uncle Fred. I shudder, remembering all the times he sexually abused me. "H-How?" I whimper. He chuckles and walks over to me. "How's my little niece doing?" He asks, innocently. "Please just leave me alone." I whimper, hiding my head. "Oh I can't do that. Where's your brothers? Or are you the only Dixon left alive?" "D-Daryl is still alive. B-But Merle isn't." "The loose cannon." He mutters under his breath, getting on his knees in front of me. My hands still tied down. I can smell the whiskey on his breath. I shakily try to scoot away but he puts his hands on my legs, strugglingly pulling them apart. "No!! Let me go!! Don't!!" I scream. I kick my legs and nail him in the nose. He screams and falls back, holding his nose. "You're dead you little bitch!" He growls. I scream again as he grabs my head and slams it back, knocking me out again.

Jason's pov

Where could she be?! Where could she have gone?! I don't know what to do. Breathing heavily, I lean against a tree to catch my breath. I gasp in shock when I see one of her knives!! "Guys!" I yell. A walker stumbles toward me. I shoot it with an arrow and pick up her knife as the others run over. "She was here. This is her knife." I choke out, my breathing still ragged. Michonne looks to the sky. "It's getting dark. We should head home. We can look more tomorrow." She says, wincing in worry. "Fuck that. I'm not going home til I have her safe in my arms again." I shout furious. "Jason you can't see in the dark! You'll end up getting yourself killed!" She shouts back. "I have to find her! Who knows what's happening!" I cry, miserable. I have no idea where she is or if she's hurt or scared! "We'll look more in the morning." Daryl says, a hand on my shoulder. I sigh, knowing they're right and there's nothing I can do until the sun comes back up. I reluctantly walk with them back to Alexandria.
