Miranda's pov
Glenn is guarding the gate right now. I feel bad about what happened. I walk over. "Hey chinaman." I tease. He turns around confused but then a soft smile settles on his face. He waves. "So how long have you been here?" I ask, walking over, my hands in my pockets. "About a week before you guys got here." "Glenn, I'm really sorry-" "Don't be. You can't help it. We just weren't meant to be. I found someone else anyway." He says, shrugging. I stop short surprised. "S-Someone else?" I choke out confused. He chuckles. "Yeah. She lives here. Her name's Enid." He says. I'm just so surprised. I smile. "I'm glad." I say. A car pulls up to the gate. Glenn turns to face it. "Who are you?" He asks. The guy on the other side looks at Glenn confused. "Uh we live here. Who are you?" He counter asks. "Glenn and this is Miranda. We're sorta new to Alexandria." "Oh my name's Heath. That's Annie. We've been scouting for a few weeks." Glenn shakes his hand through the gate. Then he opens it. Heath has a kind smile. I smile too and wave. "Welcome home." I say, holding my hand out. He smiles and shakes it. "I should be welcoming you, cutie." He says. I blush, my eyes wide. I just decide to ignore the comment.
Jason's pov
I think I'm gonna like being the cop here. I like protecting people, especially my girls. Speaking of my girls, I find Miranda and Glenn talking to some guy I haven't met yet. I walk over. Glenn turns around. "Oh Deanna is needing to talk to you." He says. "Ok who's the new guy?" I whisper to Miranda. "Oh uh his name is Heath. He lived here before we came." I shrug and walk to find Deanna who's talking with a guy I learned is named Nicholas. "You needed to talk to me?" She turns around and nods. "Yes, we need a tower guard but we can't decide who would be good for the job." Ok, not sure what that has to do with me. "Well, who do we got?"

Miranda's pov
Night has fallen so I get back home, tired. Jason's playing the guitar for Alex who's drifting off to sleep. "Great job." I say. He jumps in surprise. I laugh. "Baby girl, you can't sneak up on me like that." He says. I sit down on the couch. "We're going on a supply run tomorrow." He says, putting his guitar up. A supply run. Just us. After what happened in that dream? "Just us?" I ask. "Uh no Glenn, Heath, and some guy named Nicholas. We're gonna be fine hun. I won't get attacked." He says, sitting back down beside me. "What if you do? Then what do I do?" "I won't hun. I promise." But no one is safe or promised life out there where the dead walk the earth.
*later*
Glenn falls into step beside us. "I've just got to warn you Nicholas is a bit of a loose cannon and a dumbass. I've been keeping an eye on him but be careful." He says. Jason glances back at him. "He ain't gonna be a problem is he?" He asks. "Well, I'll try to keep him in check but.... Ya know." Glenn says, shrugging. I sigh. We don't need idiots on a run getting us killed. We finally reach the city. "Ok y'all know the drill. Aim for the head, get anything we might need." Jason says, giving everyone their jobs. I'm in charge of getting food. "I'll stand guard, you search the store." He says, worrying me. "But Jason....." "It'll be fine. I'm fine." He stands guard at the door while I go inside nervous and worried as hell. I gasp in surprise, seeing the long dead walker. I laugh. "Hey Jason, get in here!" I call. He quickly runs in, thinking it's trouble. "Jason, this is where we first met." Before he can reply though, I hear a scream. He spins around. "Come on." He says, grabbing my hand and we take off running.
This is what I believe happened, except for the rescue since I have no clue what happened after! For all the people thinking Glenn died.
Glenn's pov
"Run!!" I scream. A giant herd was closing in. "We need to get to higher ground!" He shouts. No shit. But there isn't any higher ground. We were firing off rounds when I notice a dumpster. "Nicholas, come on!" I shout. We get on the dumpster. "Looks like this is it." He says. "No it isn't don't give up like that!" I gasp. But the walkers surround us. It's looking pretty grim. I see Miranda and Jason at the back of the pack, staring at us in helpless shock. "Glenn." Nicholas says. I look over at him, his gun in hand. "Thank you." He says, confusing me. "Wha?" He puts the gun to his head. "Nicholas no! Don't!" I shout grabbing his shoulders. But he shoots himself, his body becoming heavy in my arms, making me lose my balance.
Jason's pov
Holy shit! Glenn and Nicholas topple over into the walkers. "No!" She cries, hitting her knees. "Baby, we gotta go. They're coming!" I gasp, helping her up. "Oh my God poor Glenn." She whimpers. I pull her away from the horrific scene. "We will come back for him. He deserves to be buried." I say, holding her up as we run away.
Glenn's pov
I can't believe what I'm seeing. Nicholas's body is being torn apart right on top of me. I feel like I'm gonna throw up. I try my hardest to wriggle out from under it and crawl to the dumpster. I fight back the urge to vomit and lay on the ground, trying to catch my breath. The herd will move on soon.
Jason's pov
"That was horrible. Poor Glenn." She whimpers as we run through the gates home, Heath hot on our heels. "What happened?" Daryl gasps, surprised. "Big herd. Cornered Glenn and Nick and killed them." I say sadly, holding her up. She saw it all and I think it really messed her up. "We should go back and retrieve the bodies." Heath says. "Body." I growl. "What do you mean?" "Damn Nicholas shot himself and that's what caused Glenn to fall." "I always hated Nicholas." Heath mutters, crossing his arms. Daryl takes over with her and me and Heath and Michonne all go back to get Glenn's body. I glare down at Nick's body in disgust. "But where's Glenn?" Michonne whispers.
Glenn's pov
I wake up hearing voices and remembering where I am. I hear a sigh. "He must've become a walker." "Wait guys!" I gasp. "Guys!" I hear Jason say. He and Heath push the dumpster. "Damn man, you're alive!" Jason gapes. I nod and shakily stand up. "I've cheated death more times than you can count." I mutter.
Jason's pov
I'm shocked. "How did you escape?!" He points back at the dumpster. "It was Nicholas that got torn apart." He says. "Wow, I thought we were getting ready for a funeral but we're having a welcome home party!" Heath says, smiling. I clasp his shoulder. "I'm glad you ain't dead man." We get home. Brantley was guarding the gate. He's gonna mess with me. I know him. "B, let us in man." He laughs and opens it. "We've got a live one." Heath says. Michonne laughs. I leave them and go home. "Baby, I'm home." I call. "But Miranda, you didn't like Glenn anymore." Daryl says. "Yeah I know. But it doesn't help seeing him get ripped apart! I mean I didn't love him anymore but I still cared about him!" She says. I smile, ready to tell her the good news. "Hey babe, no need to be sad! He's okay." I say, walking in the kitchen where they were talking. "What do you mean?" She asks, confused. "He's not dead. It was Nicholas being torn apart. Glenn was able to wiggle under the dumpster. He's alive and home." Tears fall down her cheeks. "Oh thank Goodness." She cries, hugging me. I smile and pat her back as Daryl leaves.
Glenn's pov
Daryl walks over. "You lucky son of a bitch." He says, smirking and hugging me. "Ya got some balls for a chinaman." I roll my eyes. "I'm Korean." I mutter. "Whatever!" He says, shrugging. I laugh. "You redneck." I tease. He nods. "I'm shocked you're alive." Deanna says, walking over. "And without a scratch on you." She stares me up and down. "You should get checked out. Just to be on the safe side." I sigh. It's just for safety. I walk with her to the clinic.
