Jason's pov

"You're gonna highly regret it if ya don't take that gun outta my back." I warn. He laughs. "You're not in the right position to be giving orders." He says, pushing it deeper into my back. I duck quickly catching him by surprise and steal the gun, pressing it to his forehead. "Now then, I'm in control." I say with a smile. He falls backward in surprise. "So what now, you're gonna kill me?" I want to. I want to pull the trigger and get rid of this filthy piece of slime. "I would Merle. I really want to so bad. But I made a promise to the girl I love that I wouldn't kill her brother. No matter how much I hate you and how much you deserve it." I grumble, lowering the gun. A walker stumbles up behind him. "Crap Merle! Look out!" I gasp, shooting it. He glances at it shocked. "You saved me!" He gapes. I nod and smile. I hold a hand out to him. "Truce?" He clasps my hand and I help him to his feet. "Yeah truce. But no movin' in on my sister." I sigh. "Merle, nothing is gonna stop me from being with the girl I love." I say. "I'm not saying you can't be girlfriend and boyfriend. I'm fine with that. You know what I'm talking about. We can't bring kids into this world." He is right about that. But I love it when we do that. I sigh. "You have my word." I lie. We get back to camp and I instantly go to the rv. "Hey, hun, you okay?" "Yeah, what about you?" I nod and hug her. "Jason, your arm!" She cries, alarmed. I glance down at it. There's a small scratch from a thorn bush. "I'm fine honey. It's just from thorns." I say, resting a hand on her cheek. "So you're okay?" I nod and kiss her.
