A long enough time for his leg to be healed.
Jason's pov
Me and T-Dog are scouting for a place to rest. I'm hiding in one alleyway. He's hiding in the other. "Let er rip." I say into the walkie. "But then you get outta there fast." "I will." I wish she didn't volunteer to do that. But there's nothing I can do. Just as expected, music from a boom box starts blasting. The walkers are drawn to it and me and T-Dog run through the now abandoned streets. She meets us at the hospital. "Man you're awesome." I say. She sighs. "I wish I was awesome enough to have saved Merle." She says. I hold her hand. She's been really depressed about Merle. As much as I disliked the guy, I wish I could bring him back for her. My jaw drops when I see that the hospital is untouched. "Holy!" She gapes. "We hit the jackpot." I smile and hug her. The first good thing to happen in a while. First Sophia got killed by walkers, then Jim who we picked up not too long ago got bit and didn't tell anyone. But there are some good stuff. We picked up a few folks and made the group bigger. Sasha, Tyreese, Bob, Mika, and Lizzie. My walkie crackles bringing me back to the present. It's Daryl. "Did you guys find anything?" I smile. "We did. We found.... Everything. Bring the group up. We can stay here for-" Someone shoots the walkie from my hand. As instinct, I go for my gun. "Whoever it is better come out!" T-Dog orders, his weapon drawn And my girl's knife in hand. A girl and boy walks out shakily. They don't look more than 15! I lower my weapon. "What's your names?" "I'm Noah. This is Beth." The guy says. He looks terrified. "What do we do?" She whispers. "I don't know." I mumble. T-Dog apparently does. "Do you have any parents?" He asks. The girl shakes her head. T-Dog raises his gun. "Whoa! Man, what are you doing!? We aren't killing kids!" I screech. He glares at them. "We need this place Jason! We can't let these kids stand in our way!" He gripes. Suddenly the room fills with smoke along with an explosion! I cough. "Babe! Where are you!?" I cry. Nothing. Someone hits me in the head and I black out.
*later*
I wake up disoriented and confused. I sit up, my head pounding. "Darlin'?" Still nothing. And then I realize I'm on the edge of a broken piece of concrete hanging over the 6 story drop to the ground. I quickly get back from the edge. The kids are gone. T-Dog lay on the ground. I run over to him but he's dead. Shrapnel ripped through his face and chest. I have to find Miranda.
Miranda's pov
I wake up hearing the sound of an engine. "Oh, where am I?" I mumble. Abraham sits beside me. I sit up alert. "You guys are still alive!?" I cry. He nods. "Why'd you kidnap me?" "Me and Eugene voted on leaving you here but your boyfriend wouldn't let us." Abe grumbles. "Jason! Where is he?" I cry. Glenn walks over. Oh shit. "Where's Jason!?" "Back at the hospital. He was dead." Glenn says. No! He can't be. I look at Eugene who's driving. "Stop the car." I order, pulling out my knife and pressing it against Eugene's throat. "What are you doing!?" Abe cries. "I have to get back to Jason!" I gripe as Eugene stops the car. "Why?! He's dead!" Glenn gapes. I open the door. "Why? Because if I die I wanna die by the man I love." I hiss walking back towards town.
Jason's pov
The kids tagged along with me. "She's probably not even alive. How are you gonna know where to look?" Noah gapes. I smile. "I know my girl is alive. Now where to look I'll have to figure that out." I stop walking when I see a walker with it's stomach cut open. Who? Wait! That's the same technique Miranda uses on her kills. I look around, spotting a telephone pole with a map on it. I walk over. It's talking about some place called Terminus but what attracts my attention is the message written in walker blood. Jason go to terminus. We'll meet up there. Miranda. The gun falls from my hands in shock. I memorize the map and keep following the tracks.
Miranda's pov
I finish writing the note and wipe the blood off. "Please let him see this." I whisper. I know he's alive. I have a feeling in my gut and if he sees the notes we'll meet again.
Daryl's pov
A woman walks into our camp. "Whoa who are you?" I gripe, raising my crossbow. She smiles. "My name is Marie. I'm from terminus. You could use a good home cooked meal." She says. I'm suspicious. "We have a settlement down the way." She says, pointing. 2 hours later, we're following the woman into the gates of terminus.
Jason's pov
I keep finding the notes on every terminus sign. Every time my smile gets bigger. "I'm comin' baby." I whisper, running ahead. I find a brick building. A woman stands out front, picking berries. ? I walk over, the kids tailing me. "Is this terminus?" I ask. She smiles and nods. "Welcome to terminus." She says, opening the gates. As soon as the gates close, I feel a gun on the back of my neck. "Put down your weapons." A male voice orders. I sigh and do. Someone else collects our weapons and pushes us toward a box car. They open and shove me in. I don't know what they did with the kids. It's pitch black. I can't see anything. "H-Hello?" "Jason!" "Babe!?" I feel her arms around my neck. I smile and hug her tight. "I knew you weren't dead!" I cry. Daryl strikes a match. "Where's T-Dog?" He asks, glaring at the door. "He's dead." I say, sighing. Daryl looks me right in the eyes. "These guys are in trouble." "Why do you say that?" Maggie asks. He smiles. "Because they're fucking with the wrong people." He says. "Who all is here?" I ask. "Everyone but Carol, Tyreese, Mika, and Lizzie." Maggie says. I wonder where they are. "Oh Jason, Abe, Glenn, and Eugene are here too." Miranda whispers to me. "We will escape." Daryl says, his eyes still glued on me for some reason. Then the match goes out, plunging us into darkness once again.
