Showdown On Top Of Whole Cake Chateau!

Welcome back everyone! Not going to lie, this chapter has gone through many revisions and it came to the point where I questioned if this chapter would be delayed given how long I was taking. I won't lie, writing this chapter to the point where it was comfortable enough to read was actually kinda challenging. However, as you can see, the chapter is out and finished! From the last we saw of Uta and company, she, Luffy, and Sanji left the safety of Bege's body to go fight back against the Big Mom Pirates. Now that they are out of danger, it's only a matter of time before the Big Mom Pirates will swarm them. With the group knowing that escape is their only priority, what will they do now that they are out before the enemy? Read to find out how Uta's presence will continue to effect the story! After jumping out to stop Big Mom from unleashing her attack, Luffy, Uta, and Sanji put themselves between Big Mom and Reiju, ready to fight against the Emperor. Uta grips her spear tightly as she is well aware of the danger she had just put herself through. Now that she attacked Big Mom, there's no way she's going to let her off the hook now.

"I'm surprised you blocked Big Mom's attack." Uta said to Sanji, catching his attention. "Not that you couldn't, but didn't think you would. She is a woman after all."

"All I did was block her punch." Sanji said sternly to Uta. "You and Luffy were the ones who tried to push her back."

"We tried and we still couldn't." Uta said, visibly stressed standing before the Emperor. "Given the level we are right now, we can't beat her."

"What are you two talking about?" Luffy asks, still upset that Sanji and Uta still got out with him. "Are we doing this or what?"

"We didn't come out here to fight, Luffy, so don't even get me started!" Uta said as she begins to feel uneasy with all the surrounding bloodlust. "We can't win this fight, so we better get out of here. Every second we stay here is a second closer to our demise. We got to go!"

"Reiju, are you ready?" Sanji asks his sister who's starting to get up.

"Yes." Reiju said, nodding.

"C'mon, Luffy we're out of here!" Uta said as she turned to run off.

"Hold on, Big Mom is..."

"Listen to the woman and let's go!" Sanji said, interrupting and grabbing Luffy.

With Luffy in his arm, Uta, Sanji, and Reiju turn tail and head to the wall where they plan to make their escape. Big Mom watches as her prey runs off and sees the fire in Luffy's eyes as he is dragged away from the battle.

"Mamamama! Why are you running away?" Big Mom asks Luffy who's still glaring at her. "Is it because you're too scared to fight me?"

Big Mom then punches the ground shattering the ground the Sanji and Uta were walking on causing them to stop to face Big Mom. Luffy jumps out of Sanji's grasp and stands alongside his two friends in facing the Emperor.

"Don't you remember what you told me, Straw Hat?" Big Mom asks Luffy mockingly. "The first time we spoke, when you were on Fishman Island?"

"Luffy! Don't fall for whatever she says." Uta warns her friend, knowing what Luffy would do after being taunted. "It's not worth it!"

"I believe you said you were going to kick my ass." Big Mom continues, smiling at Luffy. "And do you remember what you said to me when you were captured in my library? Something about 'making me sorry' if I recall?"

Luffy glares at the Emperor, his rage slowly growing by the moment. Uta couldn't help but wonder what Luffy said to Big Mom when he was imprisoned in Big Mom's prison library.
