Uta's Idol.

A 'Normal' Day in the Flower Capital.

After Luffy got captured by the Beast Pirates, everyone is now forced to undergo their own plans without him. Uta wants to go save Luffy, but she is well aware of her position in the mission. Instead, we will see how Uta is handling things without Luffy and how the part she plays fits in to the main story! I don't own One Piece.

It's been a little less than a day since Luffy was defeated by Kaido and taken to the Udon prison camp. Uta and the others helped the allied forces in finding a new base of operations. In the end, they decided on making Ebisu Town their new base of operations. After everything that happened, the group went their separate ways temporarily and decided to meet back the following morning. When morning came, everyone was doing their part in helping. Rave was out searching for any information regarding the whereabouts of her brother and the Kid Pirates. Echo was aiding Usopp and the Heart Pirates in passing out flyers to samurai who have the reverse crescent on their ankle. Kinemon, the samurai, and the Minks went up to Mt. Atama in hopes of recruiting Ashura Doji. Nami and Shinobu were out spying on officials in hopes of getting some intel. Sanji opened up a soba shop, to sell soba to samurai in hopes of gathering more recruits. Chopper went to help some Minks heal a girl who was caught up in Kaido's rampage. All of the Straw Hats now have new names to hide their identities, but since Uta was not hiding that she is a foreigner, there was no need for her or her crew to change theirs. As for Uta, she was walking around the Flower Capital on the look out for either Kawamatsu or Denjiro. She was listening in on some conversation that was brought up and she even tried to sneak in the topic of the Red Scabbards, but the results ended the same. To the civilians, those seven samurai died back at Oden's Castle.

I can't believe I got nothing. Uta thought as she walked around frustrated after getting little to no information about their whereabouts. Many people think they're dead, so any leads about them are not worth jack.

Uta then sees a man selling some newspapers and figures that she might be able to find a clue in Wano's news. After paying for the paper, Uta opens it up and reads the contents.

"There's an article about the haunting that Brook's causing, but more interestingly there's news on Killer." Uta said softly as she read the newspaper. "Then there is this Ushimitsu Kozo person that people are talking about. Someone like him might be worth looking into and recruiting."

Uta then blinks a few times and rereads the article about Ushimitsu Kozo. She then recalls the moment where she saw Kyoshiro jumping the buildings late at night. His appearance back then and the one on the article matches.

Is there a connection between this Witching Hour Boy and Kyoshiro? Uta thought, shocked at what she pieced together. I mean, it's all still a random theory, but if what I'm thinking is correct, could he be an ally...

Before Uta could finish her thought, she suddenly senses Raizo from above. He then throws something towards Uta and she recognizes it as a kunai with a piece of paper attached to it. Uta swipes her arm into a blur, allowing her to grab the kunai undetected. Uta looks over at Raizo and nods, then the ninja disappears before her eyes. The diva then walks behind a building without bringing too much attention to herself. When she was well out of the eyesight of the crowd of civilians, Uta opens up the paper and reads it.

"Looks like Luffy is safe, but Raizo is asking me not to go and to leave the search for the missing samurai in my hands." Uta grumbles as she scrunches the paper and stuffs it in her pocket. "Unbelievable."

Uta walks out from the alleyway with a stressed look on her face. She couldn't believe she was left out on a mission to rescue Luffy. She understood how important it was to gather the remaining Red Scabbards is, but surely she would be the one to get the job done. Uta continued to walk and was surprised to see a long line of women who were all squealing excitedly. Uta then sees Robin and Franky sitting nearby eating some soba.
