Big News! The Rise of the Uta Pirates?!

Here it is folks! The final chapter of the Whole Cake Island arc! It looks like Morgans couldn't keep his mouth shut and Luffy isn't the only person who is making headlines. As you can tell in the title, I'm going to end this part of the story with a major headline that will change the life of Uta and all of her Section Leaders. How will they all react to this and how did this information even came to be in the first place? Read to find out what happens! I don't own One Piece.

It's been a day since Uta and the Section Leaders left Big Mom's territory and things are settling back to normal. Right now, the group is going straight to Wano since Uta is expected to perform for the annual Fire Festival for the Beast Pirates.

"Do you think Luffy and the others made it out safely?" Rave asks out loud as she plays chess with Echo. "I haven't heard anything ever since we left Whole Cake Island."

"Oh they answered alright." Echo said as she knocked down one of Rave's pieces. "Uta had the snail all for herself so all the calls they made went to her. I'm sure they called at least twice since we picked up Uta after her big fight."

"And here I thought my hearing was insane." Uta mutters as she sips some tea. "Well, regarding Luffy and the others, I'm sure they'll make it out alright."

"Hey, there's a News Coo up there!" Pitch said, pointing up at the sky. "Get its attention and maybe we can find out what happened back at Whole Cake island."

Uta waves her hand in the air to catch the gull's attention and the bird flies down to the Shanty. Uta pays the bird for a newspaper and then begins to read it as the seagull flies away. The diva smiles brightly and laughs loudly once she reads the newspaper.

"Well, one thing's for sure, Morgans really knows how to make a catchy headline." Uta said as she showed her friends the front page which had Luffy's face. "It says here that me, Luffy, Sanji, Jimbei, and Bege attempted to assassinate Big Mom with Luffy being the mastermind of it all. We also see some stuff about Jimbe joining the Straw Hat Pirates, Germa 66 assassination attempt, the defeat of the Big Mom Pirates and other trivial things."

"Luffy is the mastermind of the entire operation?" Pitch laughs. "When Bege gets wind of this, he'll be pissed for sure."

"What else does it say?" Rave asks curiously.

"I'll try to summarize it as I read it along." Uta said as she scanned the newspaper. "It begins by saying how Luffy challenged the Emperor, Big Mom, and got away with it, enticing her rage. Sources from the outside says that Luffy is already in control of seven powerful pirate crews which makes him the Captain of his own fleet with manpower that surpasses five thousand. Furthermore, he's not only the sworn brother of the late Portgas D. Ace, but also the younger brother of Sabo, Second-in-command of the Revolutionary Army. He's also friends with the infamous diva, Red, who they share a special connection with."

"Whoa, check out that blush." Echo teases pointing at Uta's red face. "You look a little too happy there, Uta."

"Don't make me throw you into the sea." Uta said, smiling at Echo, making her shudder in fear. "Anyways, I had a funny feeling that we would get betrayed by Morgans once he saw me change to Luffy's side."

"We never should've trusted that bird brain, but on the brightside, at least the main focus of the page is only Luffy." Rave said, relieved. "What else does it say about him?"

"Continuing on it says how Luffy was able to get Germa 66, the Sun Pirates and the Firetank Pirates to aid him in destroying Big Mom's castle and rescuing Sanji. He also defeated her highest rank officers with brute strength alone further proving his place among the top. Without a doubt, it is clear that Luffy is the winner of this battle and a force to be reckoned with. The newspaper article ends with stating that Luffy is now the fifth Emperor!"
