Let me start off by saying that I made a mistake. My third anniversary is as actually the day I posted the last chapter and I forgot. (I honestly can't believe I mistook my anniversary) Still, can you believe I have been writing this fic for three years? The fact that I've kept up with this fic for so long and that people are still reading it is still amazing to me. I mean, Film Red was more than three years ago and I would assume would die down after a year or too, but I was wrong. With the Wano arc in full swing, I'm looking forward to continue writing this story for as long as it needs. There will also be a special announcement at the end of this chapter too! So without further ado, let's continue with the story! I don't own One Piece.
Uta and especially Pitch couldn't believe what they were seeing. Standing before them was the woman who trained Pitch to become the fighter she is today, Knave 'the Storm'.
"I'm glad you haven't lost your touch, Pitch." Knave said to her former pupil. "Beating everyone in the sumo tournament is no easy feat, but I expect nothing less from you."
"You saw me fight?" Pitch asks nervously.
"Relax, would you? We haven't seen each other in over a decade and you act like I'm about to rip your throat out." Knave said, nodding her head in disappointment. "I'm not going to hurt either of you so don't worry."
"Do you honestly think I wouldn't?" Pitch asked, taking in some deep breaths. "You snuck up behind me and my Captain before punching her."
"Fair enough." Knave said with a chuckle. "Getting back to the topic, Kyoshiro let me know you were here and said that you did wonderfully during the tournament. After that, I had to go see you again."
Pitch hates how Knave is quick to shoot her down and change subjects. To Uta, Knave was a genuine badass who reminded her of someone who she couldn't put her finger on. Knave gets a good look at Pitch and smiles proudly.
"I'm really glad that you haven't lost your touch regarding your fighting style. When I saw you take a stance, I knew that you've grown stronger this last decade." Knave said complimenting Pitch. "Not only that, it seems like you're following quite the powerful captain."
Knave then turns to Uta and bows before her, catching her off guard.
"I guess I have to apologize for attacking you, but it couldn't be helped." Knave said with a smirk. "I wanted to get a glimpse of how strong Pitch's captain is."
"It's no big deal. It's a real honor to clash with the woman who trained Pitch in martial arts." Uta said bowing respectfully before Knave. "My name is Uta and I'm her friend and captain."
"I see you have manners after all. That's real good." Knave said content with Uta's mannerism. "I've heard that you and your crew started quite the uproar back on Whole Cake Island along with some of the Worst Generation. You are all becoming quite famous amongst the Beast Pirates."
Knave then raises her arm up which was shown to have a slight graze on it. Pitch was shocked and understood that the small cut Knave's wrist must've been done by Uta.
"You managed to land a hit on me when I punched you. Impressive to do, especially given that I attacked you at that moment." Knave said as she rubbed her wrist. "I can see why Pitch decided to follow you."
"You flatter me." Uta said, blushing with pride.
At this point several members of the Beast Pirates began to surround the three, shocked to see Knave out of Ringo, Pitch, the former Headliner, and Uta, the diva who's causing major headlines overseas. Knave noticed that they were gathering too much attention and crossed her arms angrily.
"Is there a problem?" Knave asks the pirates.
"I'm sorry, but you attacked them so we are wondering if they're the enemy." one of the Beast Pirates said. "Would you like our assistance?"
