If sorry for the delay in the publication of this chapter. I had a very busy week and writing couldn't be a priority during this time. I will mention on my discord server and X account if a chapter will be delayed or not so keep a lookout. In the last chapter, we see Uta fighting against Charlotte Snack and Cracker on board the enemy ship. With the wheel broken, Uta is unknowingly headed towards Biscuit Island. With the enemy watching her every move from the sidelines, will Uta be able to keep up with two incredibly strong enemies at once? Read to find out how the battle will continue! I don't own One Piece.
~Meanwhile, on the deck of the Thousand Sunny...
Focused on escaping the Big Mom Pirates, Jimbe, Nami, Brook, Chopper, and Carrot are all putting their focus on sailing to Cacao Island where Sanji is baking a wedding cake that is hopefully good enough to end Big Mom's hunger pangs. Since Luffy went into the Mirror World to fight against Katakuri, tensions were high on board the Sunny. Since danger seemed to be far behind them, Jimbe took the opportunity to update Uta about the situation. When Pitch answered instead of Jimbe, it was shocking to him that they were under attack. After updating the crew on the situation, Jimbe thought that perhaps Uta and the others would see the dangers of facing an Emperor, but it seemed to have the opposite effect on Uta. He didn't think it would cause her to go off and fight the Big Mom Pirates on her own. However, given the positions of the Section Leaders, Uta's choices were very limited. Pitch seemed to notice this and told Jimbe that she and the others will be careful and update him if anything new happens for which Jimbe agreed before hanging up.
So Uta went off to fight Cracker and Snack, huh? Jimbe thought as he put his focus on steering the Sunny. Given her nature, I can't say I didn't see this coming. Especially after what I told her about Luffy.
"Well? Is Uta ok?" Nami asks, concerned. "I just heard Pitch say that she went to fight go fight Cracker!"
"Wait, isn't he the Sweet Commander that Luffy had a hard time defeating?" Chopper asks, panicked. "Don't tell me he's up and ready to fight again!"
"It took Luffy half a day to just barely defeat him with your help, didn't he, Nami?" Brook asks concerned. "And Uta is fighting two people with the same skill level at this very moment."
"Will Uta win this?!" Carrot asks, scared. "I don't want Uta to lose to those creeps! What should we tell Luffy?!"
"Enough! No one will tell Luffy anything about this!" Jimbe roars angrily. "How dare you all look down on the 'Diva Queen of Songs'!"
Everyone was shocked to see Jimbe so visibly upset for them getting worried about Uta. It was unlike Jimbe to raise his voice like this, despite this Nami still couldn't shake off her worries.
"It took me and Luffy the entire night and more to defeat Cracker and we were barely able to pull through!" Nami said to Jimbe, trying to convince him to change his mind. "I don't care how strong Uta is, she can't win! You have to tell the Section Leaders to stop her!"
"So that they can be left out in the open to the danger of the Sweet Commanders?" Jimbe asks Nami. "As long as Uta is keeping them company, her friends will be safe from their wrath just as Luffy did to us. Just as we didn't stop Luffy's resolve, we shouldn't stop Uta's."
"Luffy's my Captain! This is different!" Nami retorted. "I know how hard it was to fight the Cracker guy and I heard that Snack is supposedly on the same level as him! I don't care how strong Uta is, she can't possibly defeat them both!"
"I agree, Boss!" Chopper said in agreement with Nami. "What if Uta gets seriously hurt? If that happens, what do we tell Luffy?"
"You all underestimate Uta's power." Jimbe said to the Straw Hats. "She isn't as weak as you all think."
