Last chapter, Uta and company arrived at Fishman Island and decided to explore a bit before heading off to the New World. During their trip, they met up with Jimbe who gave Uta a shocking delivery, an invitation to one of Big Mom's infamous Tea Parties! How will Uta respond to this? Why not read to find out more? I don't own One Piece.
As Uta and her friends take the Fish Bus to Ryugu Palace, Jimbe bombards them with shocking news. Uta was personally invited by one of the Four Emperors, Big Mom, to perform for one of her tea parties. This was a huge deal since no pirate has ever asked Uta to perform for them before.
"To think your talent is now wanted by the Four Emperors! Isn't that exciting?" Rave asks. "You are a real big deal now!"
"What a unique honor to be recognized by them!" Echo adds in agreement.
Uta and Pitch were silent at the news as both knew better than to see this as a purely positive note. They were not as naive as to believe that accepting an invitation from one of the Four Emperors would be a good thing. Just as Uta was about to speak up, Jimbe raises his hand, signaling the women to hold their thoughts.
"Before we get any deeper into the conversation, let's head inside." Jimbe said, looking straight ahead. "The Ryugu Palace is straight ahead."
The sight of the royal palace was something more beautiful than what the women expected. The entire building was encased by a large bubble, which allowed air to flow through the palace. Large colorful pieces of coral surrounded the castle's interior and a large golden statue of a dragon is seen placed on the roof of the palace.
"Wow, it's beautiful." Uta commented, astounded. "And to think we were invited here by the Princess herself. I should treat this more of an honor."
"I agree." Pitch said, just as amazed by the palace. "Since she talked about Luffy so openly, I completely forgot that the mermaid is of royal blood."
"You know, the way you talk to royalty so casually reminded me of back when you and I met." Rave said, reminiscing of the past. "After all, you acted the same way towards the princess of the Caledon Kingdom."
"Whatever their royalty, marine, civilians, or pirates, they are all individuals to me." Uta said, nonchalantly. "I don't care what their status is."
The bus then comes to a stop in front of the palace gate and Jimbe gets off first.
"Anyways, let's go on ahead and enter the palace. It looks as if they were expecting us since they put up a bubble." Jimbe said. "We can't keep the Princess waiting after all."
Jimbe leads Uta and company through the palace gates, where the guards greet them. Then, the group walked up the steps leading to the front doors of the palace. When the group entered, they saw Princess Shirahoshi waiting patiently for them, alongside her family. Sitting on the throne is King Neptune and on the left side of him were his sons, Fukaboshi, Ryuboshi, and Manboshi. For merfolk, the women couldn't believe how large they were and began to realize how narrow minded they were in assuming things on merfolk and fishmen.
"Greetings, jamon! Welcome to the Ryugu Palace!" King Neptune said, greeting the group happily. "It's an honor to have the one and only 'Diva' Red visit our humble abode."
"What? You're honored?" Uta asks, waving her hands in embarrassment. "Please, sir! The honor is all mine! I had no intention of coming here after all!"
"See, I told you she was kind hearted." Shirahoshi said to her family.
"You see, we know beforehand that you were a kind soul." Fukaboshi said to Uta, confusing her. "You see, I'm sure my sister invited you here without any hesitation which may have struck you as odd, right?"
