Overwhelm and Overcome.

Hello everyone and Happy 2025! Is everyone enjoying their holidays? I hope you all are! I must apologize to you all for delaying the chapter a bit as the holidays have made it harder to write and I couldn't find the time to properly sit down and write. This chapter will be the finale of the battle with the Human Hunter Pirates against Uta and the Section Leaders. Benth, the Vice Captain, has been defeated by Jimbe, but four more members are still at large which also includes the Captain, Abacus. Will Uta and the others succeed in stopping their wrath or will the anger of the Human Hunter Pirates overwhelm them? Read the first chapter of 2025 to find out! I don't own One Piece.

~Six years ago, on a certain island in the New World...

POW! BAM! WHAM! POW!

"To think we would have the opportunity to battle against the Holy Knights so soon." Benth mutters as he tries to catch his breath. "Our luck is either the greatest or the worst."

"After we killed so many Marines and World Nobles, they were bound to show up." Roe sighs as he jumps up and down, readying himself. "Especially after we slaughtered that family of Celestial Dragons."

Clashing against each other, the Human Hunter Pirates were fighting against the Holy Knights. During this scuffle, the majority of their crew has been defeated with the exception of the executives of the crew which include Benth, Roe, Drakkar, Yappan and Shinra. Despite defeating the majority of the group there was this one figure who just would not fall and would keep knocking them back. It was a man with red hair and a cold look on his face.

"It's just one human! How on earth is he fighting us all by himself?" Yappan asks, enraged.

"Never mind that and just focus on taking him down." Drakkar instructs. "What really concerns me is why that man is here."

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

Fighting against each other with a glass blade and sword, Abacus and Shanks are now locked in combat.

"As a pirate, you have no business in helping these Celestial fools! So why are you sticking your neck out for them? Huh, Shanks?"

"You decided to battle on my territory and were about to slaughter the residents here, do you think I would simply let that slide? As for those guys, I want nothing to do with them!"

Shanks' sword and Abacus' bladed arm collide with each other and both try to overpower the other.

"I will not lose to a one armed human!" Abacus growls. "Once I finish you off, I'll kill the rest of the humans here including your crew!"

"Lay a hand on my crew and you will regret it." Shanks says as he glares angrily at Abacus.

Shanks then lets loose a powerful burst of conqueror's haki and swipes his sword knocking Abacus back and shattering his arm.

"Damn you!" Abacus roars furiously as his arm regenerates back. "If you weren't here Shanks, I would have killed all those humans by now!"

"I'm not usually one to get arrogant, but after fighting you for a bit, one thing has become clear to me." Shanks mumbles as he walks closer to Abacus with black streaks of lightning emitting off his body. "At the level you are now, you will never defeat me."

Abacus only grew angrier from Shanks words and so he punches the ground and activates his awakened powers. Still Shanks did not waver as his eyes locked in with Abacus. The three eyed man's fury grew at the sight of Shanks unwavering will to fight him.

"Glass Structure: Décor!" Abacus yells as several glass formations rise up from the ground. "Go die, you red haired cripple!"

"Divine Departure!"
