The Tea Party is about to start and everyone both enemies and allies alike are getting ready for what's to come. However, neither side are truly prepared for what kind of situations might arise. Read to find out how Uta and the Section Leaders adapt to the world's most deadliest wedding. I don't own One Piece.
With two hours left until the wedding ceremony starts, Uta and Pitch prepare to leave their room to head to the top of the chateau where Big Mom's tea party is held.
"Did you contact the others and let them know to meet us up at the top of the castle?" Uta asks Pitch.
"Yeah, I told them." Pitch said, giving Uta a thumbs up. "Are we about to head there now?"
Uta nods and looks to the side to see a fireplace which was quite convenient. Uta tosses the binder that Vito gave her into the fireplace and grabs the matches that were resting on the mantle. She then lights a match up and casually throws it on top of the binder setting it ablaze.
"Don't you think that may be a bit excessive?" Pitch asks "I'm sure by the time we finish this up, they will have figured out that we planned on betraying them."
"I'm sure that they will have figured me out, but we can't be too careful." Uta answers as she watches the fire slowly burn the binder to cinders. "C'mon, I want to see how an emperor likes her tea parties."
Uta and Pitch quickly adjust their outfits before leaving their room with their belongings. As the pair walk down the hall, several passersby begin to murmur and whisper to each other once they catch a glimpse of Uta and Pitch. Since Uta is basically the top celebrity here in Whole Cake Island, it wasn't too surprising that all eyes were on her. However, Uta was more worried if they were reacting to what happened last night. After all, it wouldn't be too surprising if rumors would be buzzing and it wouldn't be surprising if people began to suspect her. Even though Uta was sure that they were all just star struck, that thought never left her mind.
"It's been awhile since I received these stares." Uta said to Pitch. "Kinda nostalgic."
"That's a natural reaction." Pitch chuckles. "All of the sudden, you stopped doing concert tours and ceased live streaming for several weeks without reason. Of course people would be shocked to see you."
I can only hope that's the reason. Uta thought as she and Pitch head upstairs.
Badadada! Badadada! Calick!
Pitch's transponder snail suddenly goes off and she takes the snail out of her pocket to answer it.
"Hello? Is that you, Rave?" Pitch asks once she answers the snail.
"Hey, I just wanted to let you know that me and Echo just got on this candy escalator and are heading up to the castle along with some other guests." Rave said to Pitch.
"Did you say a candy escalator?" Pitch asks confused.
"You heard me correctly! An escalator made of candy!" Rave answers excitedly. "Also, you won't believe some of the people that came!"
"Yeah, I'm already aware of some of the guests that were invited." Pitch said with a nod. "However, among those guests, there is one whose presence may pose a major problem to us."
"Who's that?" Rave asks.
"Who do you think? It's obviously 'Big News' Morgans." Uta answers. "If that bird brain were to see me, he would surely tell the entire world in his next article."
"Did anyone tell you it's rude to eavesdrop?" Pitch asks, annoyed that she interrupted their conversation. "Anyways, Uta is right. By now, I'm sure the World Government already knows that we hightailed it and ran off, but they don't have any leads on where we are."
