"He Is Awake!!!"

Nour never stopped visiting her sister and father ever since they were admitted to the hospital.

Tayyal and Dahlia would tell her to take a break and let them take care of their father and sister.

"I can't do that guys. I feel..."

"Guilty? Why? You didn't do anything to make Dad hurt, or even Zianna's condition isn't your fault, Nour," Dahlia tried to assure her sister, but Nour was having any of it.

Her conscience wasn't letting her live in peace while her father and sister were lying in the hospital, fighting for their lives.

I hurt my sister when I was supposed to protect her. I let my mom manipulate me to hurt my sister. An innocent soul. Someone who just wanted to be loved, cared and have a family when her mother died. I have to protect her now, and I will do it even if it hurts me.

Tayyal knew that the guilt that his sister had wouldn't go away until both their father and sister were healthy and out of danger.

Their father's doctor walked toward them with a smile on his face.

"Doctor, how is our father?" Tayyal asked.

"He is awake and is asking for his children. You can follow the nurse who can take you to him," the doctor said, pointing at the nurse who was standing next to him.

They thanked him and followed the nurse to their father's room, where they found him smiling weakly.

"Asalam aleikum, my children but there's one missing," Hussein says while looking around for Zianna. "Where is she?" He asked.

Tayyal and Nour looked at each other before looking at their father.

"Zianna has been admitted here because it is needed, Dad. She needs to rest, so her doctor said that it is better so her to stay at the hospital," Tayyal says, lying to his father.

"Tay, I dont think that's the truth, is it?" His father asked. "Now, tell me the truth," he added.

"Dad, you are stil weak. You need to rest before anything..."

"I need to know what happened to my daughter...your sister, Tay. So if you dont tell me what she is doing in the hospital, I will get up from this bed and go look for her myself," Hussein said.

Tayyal sighed with defeat and started telling his father everything about what happened to Zianna and how she ended up in the hospital.

"That wasn't hard was it?" Hussein asked. "I am not as fragile as you think I am, son. Zianna visited me, when I woke up. I was testing you. And she did tell me what the doctor told her about her health," he added, chuckling at his children's reactions.

Tayyal couldn't help but shake his head at the way his father was acting.

"Dad, Uncle Qassim in at the police while mum gave her statement that it was all his fault...."

"I knew she will do that and he will let her. I have already contacted a divorce lawyer before I got shot. When he didnt recieve news from me, the lawyer would serve your mother the divorce papers and everything she needs to leave us alone," Hussein said, surprising his children. "I know that everything surprised you but it is the truth. Dalia, I want to talk to you in private," he added.

Tayyal and Nour walked out of the room and went to see their siste,r who was getting her final check up of the month.

"Is something wrong dad?" Dalia asked.

I dont know how you will feel after I tell you everything about your real father and the brother that was passed as Zoya's cousin. And how you are related to Zoya? I just hope you can get through this, Dahlia.
