Aayan Talking to Tayyal.

Zianna.

I never thought I would be happy and married to someone who loves me for who I am.

Miracles do happen when you don't give up on anything in life. But one person is worrying me, my brother Tayyal.

He says he is fine, but I can clearly see dark circles under his eyes due to a lack of sleep.

Even though he hired Hannah to help him during the day, which surprised me considering the questionable contract he made her sign.

Yes, I did read it when I saw it on the table where Tayyal had accidentally left it when he went to his room.

Tayyal added a clause saying they wouldn't see each other.

I think my brother is going mad.

“Zianna, what's wrong? I have been calling you for the last ten minutes”, my husband says looking at me with a confused look on his face.

“Did you draft that ridiculous contract for my brother? Don't you dare deny it. I saw the company logo on the paper and you as his lawyer”, I said.

“Zia, that's private…”

“I don't want you to tell me what you two discussed. Just say yes or no. Simple. Did you draft it?” I asked, one more time.

“Yes, I did, and I did tell him that it was a ridiculous contract, but he said it is for him and not for Hannah”, Azhar explained. “It has been almost a year since Zoya's death and I think Tay needs a break from everything”, he added.

“He looks like a panda with his dark circles under his eyes”, I said, making him laugh. “Dahlia helps with the night routine and from her, he doesn't let her do anything to help”, I added.

“Your brother is stubborn and needs to prove to everyone that he can handle it all by himself. How can we help him without him knowing?”

“We could involve Mamma… she gives the best advice”, I said smiling.

“True but we don't want to think that he can't do it. Zia, being a parent isn't easy especially when someone has lost their partner. I think the best person to talk to him is Dad”, Azhar says. “He was a single father before he met Mamma through Azaan. Should I give him a call?” He asked.

“Yes, plus Tay needs to slow down or else he will end up in the hospital”, I said.

Azhar took his phone and dialled his father's number. I took a deep breath hoping that Dad would help us.

I started calling his parents Mamma and Dad just like he did, and in a way, it healed me.

I still talk to my father but our relationship wouldn't be the same as it was before everything that happened in our lives.

“Okay, you and Mamma can come to dinner tomorrow. Zia and I will get Tayyal here for you to talk to him. Thanks Dad, for doing this”,  Azhar says on the phone.

After a few minutes, he hung up and looked at me with a smile on his face.
“It seems that Dad has a new favourite…you. He and Mamma will be here tomorrow for dinner and we need to get Tayyal here…”
