A New Chapter For Everyone.
Epilogue.
Zianna.
Looking back, if anyone had told me that I would be married to my boss. I would ignore them or even give them a piece of my mind.
I have the best-in-law parents a girl could wish for. Patience comes alongside happiness; that's what Mamma Hayat told me. In a way, she is just like my own mother.
"Zianna, are you alright?" My husband asks me. "You haven't answered me when I called you," he added, handing me my medications.
"I am sorry. I am just thinking about these past one year and a half. We wouldn't have met if your Uncle didn't offer me the job and you would still be a grumpy and non smiley person," I told him, taking the medicines and swallowing them with water.
"True but also remember that you almost quit because of the workload I would give you. But I am thankful that you stayed and tolerated me," he said, kissing my forehead.
Whenever I see parents with their children, I pray that some day we will have our own, but for now, Azhar says I should focus on my health, and in two or even three years, we will talk about it.
Now my husband and I will enjoy our nieces and nephews.
"Come and have dinner so we can rest. Because tomorrow is a big day for the family," Azhar says, leading me to the dining room.
"But I haven't made dinner..."
I couldn't finish what I was saying when I saw the dining table filled with our favourite foods.
"I ordered this from our favorite restaurant and have them deliver it. While you were in the study, I arranged for us to have a romantic dinner," he told me with a smile on his face.
Azhar led me to my chair, and I sat down. He then sat beside me.
"Thank you for being the best husband," I told him, smiling.
"You are welcome, Habibty. Now lets eat."
Alhamdulilah, I found someone like him. And thank you to Uncle Khalid for making me stay as his assistant.
Azhar.
Marriage was the last thing on my mind, especially after what happened in my past. But Zianna taught me to never give up on anything that makes me happy.
I am glad that she agreed to stay after everything I had put her through. Falling for her wasn't in my plans either, but Alhamdulilah, I did. Because she is the best thing that has happened to me in my life.
"Next time, let's cook dinner together, okay?" She asked, smiling.
"In shaa Allah. How about next week?"
She nodded and smiled.
Zianna has been through a lot, and it takes a broken person to see another broken person. Being broken doesn't mean that you can't be fixed or even fix yourself.
Zianna fixed my heart even before I started to fall in love with her. She deserves all the love in the world. I hope that Aunt Nadia doesn't try to harm her.
I will protect her with my life.
She is my life.
Zianna showed me the light when I turned my world dark because of what happened in the past.
I can't change the past, but I can change the future and make it better for my wife and our future children.
Having children is what Zianna and I always wanted, but we...I needed to make sure that my wife is in good health before having them.
