Chapter Fifty-One

"How Far Will They Go To Hurt The People I Love?"

After what happened to Hussein, Zianna needed to know how and who shot him. Was it his wife or Uncle Qassim? He was still her father, no matter what, and forgiveness was something that her mother taught her, especially when she also wanted to be forgiven for her mistakes.

Azhar knew that the two sisters would want to talk alone, so he decided to get Zianna something to eat and drink, as it was almost time for her to take her medications.

"I will be right back, Zia. I need to get some food for you," he says to his wife and then turns to face his sister-in-law. "Would you want something to drink?" he asked Nour, who just shook her head.

"No, thank you."

Azhar nodded and walked away, leaving the two sisters alone. But first, he needed to know where Tayyal is, as he has not been seen since his father arrived at the hospital.

As he was taking his phone to call, a hand stopped him from doing that.

Azhar then turned around to see who it was.

Tayyal.

"Asalam Aleikum. Where have you been? Anyways, Dad has been out of surgery for almost an hour now but the doctor says he is still not our of danger..."

"Waleikum salaam. I know all that. I have been to the police station giving my statement to them about what happened at the house and how dad ended up being shot. Alhamdulilah, for Nour. She recorded everything and sent it to me but she would stil need to go to the police to get her statement," Tayyal explained. "Where is Zianna?" He asked.

Azhar explained to his brother-in-law that Zianna was with Nour and that they were talking about what happened to Dad.

"I dont think she should know, Tay. Especially with her condition. Alhamdulilah, the doctor says she is improving with the new medications but she stil needs a heart-transplant," Azhar explained.

"In shaa Allah, she will get it and you two will be able to live happily. But Azhar, if she doesn't know, she will be angry at you, me and Nour if she isn't told anything," Tayyal said to him. "Come on, I need to talk to Zianna. I know that Nour won't be able to as she is still in shock about what she witnessed," he added.

Azhar nodded but told him he needed to buy food and water for Zianna to take her medications.

After buying the food and water, both Azhar and Tayyal walked to where Zianna and Nour were.

Zianna was still comforting Nour as she was still crying and couldn't even bring herself to tell her sister what happened at the house.

"Nour, what is wrong? How did this happen? Please tell me..."Zianna was trying to calm her sister down and get her to explain what happened at the house. And most importantly, who shot their father?

"I will tell you," a voice said, making the two of them look up.

Tayyal and Azhar walked up to them, while Nour started shaking her head at her brother.

"Tay, Asalam Aleikum. What happened?..."

"Zia, take a deep breath and sit down. I will explain everything, but after you take your medicines, okay?" Tayyal said to his sister, who nodded.

Tayyal turned to face Azhar, who took Zianna's medicines and handed them to him, plus the water he had bought for her.

After taking them, Tayyal knew that his sister wouldn't let it go until she knew what happened to their father.

"Zianna, what I am about to tell you is something serious and I want you to know that the person who did this is in police custody, okay?" Tayyal tries to assure his sister, who looks confused.
