I can't believe my mother is alive. After all of these years she's actually alive.

It's so wonderful. We connected again. We talked and talked about life, and everything she's missed.

4 months later

My pregnancy is worse than ever. Nothing feels right. Jacob says it's probably just hormones. I don't know though, something feels horribly wrong. Ever since we have been back home, I feel different. Is it cause I'm pregnant? Is it because I found my family?

~

Jacob, the girls, and I go to see the movie, Cinderella. The girls' eyes look in awe as the saw the princess at the theater. It made my heart fill with joy. I send a picture to my mother.

Tomorrow is their first birthday. I can't believe my babies are already a year old. I start crying again.

"What's wrong?"

"They're just getting so big." I sob.

Scarlett pulls herself up using the couch. "Come here Scarlett. Can you walk for me? Come here." I say urging her forward.

She has a terrified look in her eyes. Reluctantly she fumbles a few steps forward and falls into my arms. "You did it!" I say bouncing her a little, making her laugh.

"Are you gonna walk to me now Nikki? Come here." Jacob says. She immediately lets go of the couch and walks right to Jacob not fumbling at all.

Today is the twin's birthday party. We invite some people from work, close friends and the kids at their babysitters. Since it was so hot outside we rent a big water slide.

I end up chasing Nikki around the whole time. Scarlett was still unsure about walking.

"Hey babe," Jacob says grabbing Nikki. "You shouldn't be running around with her all day. In fact you should probably go sit down you've been standing for a longtime."

"I'm fine." I say kissing him firmly on the lips.

Everyone gave a bunch of clothes, shoes, and toys. We all sang happy birthday to them. The un-pitch voices hurt my hears so much. Once I start to cut the cake, I get really light headed.

"Evi are you okay?"

"What? Yeah sorry I just got really light headed for a second." Jacob grabs my hand and felt my pulse.

"We need to go to the hospital right now. Your pulse is way too high, i need to check your blood pressure."

"No I'm fine."

"No you're not. Alyssa, you are in charge of the rest of the party."

We drive fast to the hospital, then hear police sirens.

"License and registration please."

"Listen, my wife's blood pressure is very high. She's pregnant and she isn't due for two months. Here is $500. Bye."

We drive away and get into the hospital. Once we get inside a nurse took my blood pressure.

"You're blood pressure is too low, you're showing signs of pre eclampsia. We have to induce you. You and the baby's life is in danger."

"But I'm not due for two more months! I can't have the baby that early."

"It's your choice but you may loose your life and the baby's along with you. There's still a chance that the baby will survive."

"Evi, you need to have the baby. I can't take the risk of loosing both out you."

"Okay." I say with tears forming in my eyes.

They rush me to have an emergency c-section. My stomach is numb and I couldn't feel anything.

Jacob and the other doctors look at me with fear.

"What is it!? What the hell is wrong!?"

Jacob and the doctors run to the other room.

I don't know what the hell is happening.

They are gone close to an hour.

I'm terrified.

What's wrong with my baby.

"Evi."

"What is it?"

"Our baby boy has passed away." Jacob says and i immediately start bawling.

I am speechless.

My baby. Dead?

He didn't make it?

What?

No.

This isn't real.

This is a dream.

I need to wake up from this nightmare.

I start shaking uncontrollably.

Jacob and the other doctors try to contain me but it's useless.

I'm screaming at the top of my lungs.

I feel myself gasping for air, and my eyes rolling into my head.

Then everything went black.
