After hours

Chapter 13

I have to start working out. I still have twenty pounds to lose.

"Hey Jacob, I seriously need to go to the gym. Can you keep the girls today?"

"Yeah sure. You don't need to lose weight though I love you the way you are."

"That's nice but I'm twenty pounds heavier than I was when we started dating." I peck him on the cheek. "Love you," I call grabbing my keys and and going to the gym.

I run six miles. Maybe that was too much? Nah I love running. I notice after the four mile that there was someone taking a picture of me. Could I not even go to the gm? Are they serious?

"Excuse me, can I help you?" I ask stopping the treadmill.

"Sorry," she says holding a reporter badge. "It's my job, but I would like to know about you're daughters. How old are they? Why won't you post and pictures of them? What are their names?"

"Woah, hold on why do you care?"

"Because you are engaged to Dr. Jacob West. Everyone wants to be you right now. It makes a good story. People love it."

"Okay, well I'm going to get back to running."

That was weird.

"Hey, I'm home." i call coming through the door.

"Shh there asleep."

"Okay I need to take a shower."

"Ooh I'll join." He pulls me close and kisses me. We are interrupted by one of the girls crying.

"Hmm maybe next time," I pat him on the chest and go to the bathroom.

After I take a shower I begin flipping through channels on the tv finding something to watch.

"Evangelina was spotted today at the gym,"

"Jacob, come look at this!"

"Jacob Wests fiancé was looking good today at running on the treadmill. Trying to lose baby weight? Well we don't think she needs to. Will we be seeing a wedding sometime soon? Or maybe a picture of those adorable babies? See you next time. Doctors inside!"

"Ugh, they are so annoying! The nerve of these people."

"I know? Why are they so interested in us."

"I don't know. I go back to work tomorrow, I'm sure I'll hear all about it."

"I'm sorry."

"You don't have to apologize. I was thinking though, when do want to get married?"

"I haven't even been thinking about that. I've just always thought of us as married since we have the girls. How about next month? When I can lose all of this baby weight."

"Sounds perfect."

"I don't want the ceremony to be big, just family and close friends. I want it to be intimate. Then the reception can be big."

"As long as I'm marrying you I don't care."

We get our pictures taken and send out the invites the following day.

"Okay, so I have to go dress shopping and do you have a tux?"

"Yes I do. What about the girls?"

"They can have dresses that match mine. Where are we going to have the ceremony?"

"I have family private beach. We could do it there."

"That sounds so pretty."

"Okay where should the reception be?"

"How about the church hall?"

"Okay, what flowers?"

"Roses."

"What colors?"

"Red and white."

I smiled at him. "I'm so happy I'm marrying you."

"Okay, who for the ceremony?"

"Just mine and and your family, and close friends. Like people from work and friends from collage or high school."

"Okay and for the reception?"

"Anyone, I don't care."

"I love you so much."

"I love you."

Today was the day I'm going wedding dress shopping. I put the twins in there stroller and laid a blanket into of them so nobody could take any pictures. I invite Alyssa and Angela to come with me, this will be interesting.

I ended up choosing a three quarter length sleeved lace mermaid gown that flared out below my hips. I had them make dresses for the girls out of the same lace. It was going to be so cute.

I'm so excited to become Mrs. Evangelina West.
