After hours

Chapter 41

Alyssa's POV

"Hi babies," Justin says, talking to my stomach. I giggle at him. He kisses my stomach in six different spots, pretending that's where each baby is. "We really need to tell your family."

"I know. I know, I just came to realization that I'm having six babies. I need some time."

"Time? You won't have time. Pretty soon you won't be able to walk."

"Hey, I'm not going to get that big." Am I?

"Let's just call them and go over there."

"Right now?"

"Yes. Right now. Rip the bandaid."

"Seriously?"

"Seriously."

"Fine," I groan and stand up. I'm only one and a half months pregnant but I look about three or four. Then again I'm only 5"2 so I look even bigger.

I'm going to blow up like a ballon in a month or so.

I change into cropped black leggings and a t- shirt. No need to get fancy for my family.

Justin calls everybody and tells them we have big news and to meet at my mom and dads house.

When we arrive everyone's eyes go straight to my stomach.

"What's the news?" My mother asks looking right at me.

"Well, I'm pregnant." I say with a smile on my face, holding Justin's hand.

"That's great!"

"I'm so happy for you!" My sisters smile.

"How far along are you dear?" My mother asks still looking at me.

"One and a half months-"

"One and a half! That's it?!" She interrupts. Clearly she's panicking.

"I'm not finished. You see, I'm not just having one baby. I'm having sextuplets."

"SEXTUPLETS?!" She screams.

My sisters and dad's jaws drop to the floor.

I nod my head. Justin pulls out the most recent sonogram to prove that I'm actually having six babies.

"Oh. Oh my. Wow." My mom stampers. "Well congratulations, but how ever will you do it?"

"We're still figuring that part out." Justin says.

"I- I think I need to sit down." She says, half out of breath.

We stay a while and end up talking about our jobs, and financial situations. By the time we leave it's almost ten o'clock.

"Tomorrow is your day off right?" Justin asks as I climb into bed.

"Yeah, why?"

"We'll we need to go shopping for baby furniture and register. You're having a baby shower right?"

"Yeah, probably. I think I'll have to, that's a lot of clothes to buy for six children."
