View From the Top
Isla Nublar
Patrick couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement wash over him as the raft he and the other camper's sat on slowly drifted away from Nublar. He looked to see Kenji and Sammy laughing and splashing water on each other, while Yaz tied down some crates.
"Goodbye Isla Nublar." Darius remarked as the island slowly became a distant memory.
Brooklyn looked over at Yaz and tightened the nots earning a glare from the track star. A familiar roar caused Patrick to sit up and face the island again to see Fang roaring at him from shore.
"Bye Fang." Patrick whispered as Kenji suddenly stood up.
"Whoo!" Kenji cheered. "See ya never! Stupid Dino island! You thought you could eat us? No way!"
"You thought you could break our spirits? Impossible!" Sammy added with a cheer.
"To be fair, the island did break my spirit." Ben said. "But then I defeated Toro..."
"Not this again." Yaz groaned.
"Well, Bumpy likes when I tell it." Ben said before suddenly being interrupted by a wave shaking the raft.
"Uh... guys!" Brooklyn exclaimed pointing towards a giant wave now speeding towards them. "Secure the vines!"
"How?!" Yaz asked panicked.
"I don't know, pull on them?!" Brooklyn yelled as Patrick grabbed the vine holding down the food crate.
"You said you had raft experience!" Yaz pointed out.
"I said some raft experience! Some!" Brooklyn corrected.
"Oh, so only some of us will die!" Yaz said.
"The's wind's strong, we can just power through!" Brooklyn yelled only for the sail to fly off and into the distance, Yaz glaring at Brooklyn.
No avoiding it now, the group looked up at the wave before screaming right as the wave descended upon them.
Timeskip
The group, now drenched, made their way back to camp, Yaz glaring at Brooklyn while Patrick looked around.
"Fang!?" Patrick yelled. "Fang, we're back! Fang?!"
As the group approached the tree house, Fang suddenly jumped ontop of Patrick before licking his face, causing him to laugh.
"Missed you too girl." Patrick whispered scratching the raptor's head.
"Camp meeting!" Darius suddenly yelled causing Patrick to stand up and weakly smile at his Dino friend.
