The Nublar Seven

Darius and the seven teens all watched in horror as the Spino, who was still standing over Big Eatie's body turned its attention towards them. It let out another loud roar, one that causing every dinosaur with free will to cower before it, running into the forest.

"Where are they going?" Brooklyn asked.

"They're afraid..." Patrick whisper as Darius stood up rushing towards Big Eatie.

"We gotta help her!" Darius yelled as Brooklyn grabbed his arm pulling him away.

"Darius, there's nothing we can do." Brooklyn said as the teens ran into the forest with the dinosaurs.

"Aren't you gonna finish her off?" Hawkes asked as Palmer relinquished control to the other controllers.

"No." Palmer said controlling the Spino. "That was enough motivation for them. Now let's get that password."

Palmer and the remaining mercenaries all walked forward, the mind controlled Dino's walking side by side. Thankfully, they didn't look up to see the seven kids watching them from a tree house.

"If he's willing to kill Big Eatie..." Sammy whispered.

"So either we stay and face certain death... or leave the island." Ben whispered.

"We don't have a choice. We have to head to the boat." Darius said.

"So that's it?" Yaz questioned holding Patrick's hand. "After everything... we're just leaving the dino's to fend for themselves?"

Darius looked down thinking.

Timeskip

The group now moved through the forest as quietly as a could when suddenly, the sunlight disappeared replaced with storm Clouds and hail began falling from the sky.

"You've gotta be joking." Yaz groaned, still dizzy from earlier. Patrick grabbed his jacket and covered her head with it. Suddenly, the Spino burst out of the trees and bit infront of the two causing them t9o stumble away from each other.

"Split up!" Darius yelled. "We'll meet at the boat!"

Kenji and Patrick both ended up running towards the feeding platform while the Spino and Palmer gave chase. Kenji narrowed his eyes and grabbed Patrick hiding him in some bushes. Palmer narrowed his eyes, frustrated after loosing them.

"Cut them off at the boat." Palmer said into the comm before walking away. Kenji sighed in relief.

"Come on. We need to hurry..." Kenji said only to find Patrick was gone. "Pat?"

The Compound

Patrick ran into the clearing in front of the Compound to see Mr. Kon standing there, as if he'd been waiting.

"Good to see you Patrick." Kon greeted. "How's the new Prosthetic?"

Patrick narrowed his eyes when suddenly, the Spino emerged from the jungle with Palmer by its side. The Spino glared down at Patrick who just stared back at his father defiantly.

"Told you he'd come." Palmer said smirking.

"You don't scare me anymore." Patrick snarled causing Palmer's smile to fade. "You're never getting that password."

"I'm not surprised." Palmer said shrugging as Hawkes entered the clearing. "You were always weak. Your family, now your friends."

"You're wrong." Patrick said. "They've made me strong. Stronger than you ever could. In only six months."
