Technical Difficulties

Night loomed over the jungle biome. The kids all sat in the bushes out of sight waiting for Darius.

"What if something happened to him?" Sammy asked.

"Nothing happened to him." Yaz whispered. "Probably."

The front door opened, and Darius began running out. The group smiled when suddenly he was knocked off his feet by an explosion. Looking up, a large, bipedal robot stood over him. It was completely jet black and had white eyes.

Kash walked out holding a golf club smirking.

"I see you found your new babysitter. Or rather, it found you." Kash said. "I call them, BRAD-X. A new fleet of upgraded models. After you disappeared, I figured it was time to take this thing out on a spin. BT-dubs, what are you doing out here?"

"Honestly, I've been cooped up all day and I'm bored." Darius explained. "Can I go for a walk?"

"Sure." Kash responded. "And from now on, BRAD-X will be right there with you. And if ypou get any ideas..."

Kash suddenly brought his golf club and began slamming it against the BRAD-X until the club was bent out of shape and the robot just stood there unscathed.

"This new model's practically indestructible." Kash explained. Kash entered the compound. Darius sighed and went back inside followed by the robot. He turn around before holding up six fingers towards the others.

"Six?" Brooklyn asked. "What does that mean?"

"Doesn't matter." Patrick whispered. "We have to find out what he knows. Let's head back to Mae."

Timekskip

As the sun rose over the Jungle, the group had finished explaining everything to Mae.

"That coward turned a robot loose on a child?!" Mae asked.

"That thing was no joke." Kenji said. "Kash went to town on it and it didn't even get a scratch."

"Just cause its tough on the outside, doesn't mean it's so tough on the inside." Sammy suggested. "Maybe Patrick and Brooklyn can shut it down."

"Whoa, whoa." Patrick said. "I understand Brooklyn, but what can I do?"

"You repair a leg that takes a bigger beating than Mike Tyson." Sammy said lightly punching his shoulder.

"Yeah, again. How does that translate to robots?" Patrick asked.

"Don't worry." Brooklyn said. "I'll do the coding part, you do the mechanical part. Deal?"

"Fine." Patrick said. "But first, we need to find one."
