"Hey Calum?" Calum heard Michael say.

Calum looked at his boyfriend, "hmm?"

"I love you," Michael says, smiling. Calum smiles too, opening his arms for a hug.

Michael hugs him, nuzzling his head into Calum's neck.

"I love you too," the younger boy whispers, playing with his boyfriend's hair. Michael closes his eyes, moving around slightly to get comfortable.

It was silent.

"Aw, too cute," a voice said, before the snap of an iPhone camera.

Calum turned his head and saw Luke, who blushed.

"Ashton was right; you two are couple goals," Luke says softly, smiling weakly.

"Thank you," Calum responds, smiling bright. But, he couldn't help but think there was something wrong with Luke.

"Hey Luke, are you alright?" Calum asked, running up to the blond.

"Um, no, not really," he responded.

"Aw Lukey, what's up?" Calum asked in a sympathetic voice, hugging the boy from behind.

"Ashton's been distant lately...can you try and find what's up with him? Please?" Luke begs, turning around to face Calum.

Calum was hesitant at first--he didn't want to involve himself in other people love lives--but then he saw the pleading in Luke's eyes.

"Okay," he responded.

Ashton was star-fished on his bed.

"Hey, Ash," Calum said, sitting next to him.

"What do you want, Calum?" Ashton asked, sounding sick of everyone's shit.

"What's wrong? I haven't seen you around lately..." If Calum mentioned Luke, Ashton wouldn't give him an honest answer--he knew that much.

"I love him, Calum. I fucking love Luke Hemmings."

Calum knew just how much trouble loving someone can cause.
