Alphys talked with the other two. Managed to get the footage and covered up the transformation, and convinced them that there was a glitch in the system that made it look like a transformation, but it was two separate people. It had been an early morning, and the answer was accepted fairly quickly. So Cairo was safe, if only a little while longer. Sans knew they really had to get to the bottom of the Necromancer Spell before any more mishaps happened. Sans made his way back to the Underground, where the castle archives were, to see if they had been moved or if Asgore still tended to them down in the Underground. It was Cairo's first journey there, and for the most part, it seemed cleared out with scrolls that were in boxes to be moved. It honestly didn't surprise Sans that it had taken this long. The monster's history was vast, and the archives were huge. Cairo was feeling sick after the car ride to the mountains and the shortcut the rest of the way and was trying to power through it, but Sans knew he was out for the next hour or so. Seemed he was gonna have to find the scrolls himself.

Cairo hated cars. Hated the dizzying sickness that inconpacitated him. As a soldier, he wanted to be ready for anything and have his magic on standby. He felt sick and was unable to sit up from the archives' walls. He was unable to defend, whether he was Cairo or Samuel. Sans was deep into the archives at this point when a shadow blocked the light that filtered into the archives from the rest of the castle. Cairo tried for his dagger when the King's warm voice filtered through, and he looked up at him from the spinning of the room. "Are you alright, my friend? What are you doing here, in the archives of all places?" He asked, not unkindly. "Lookin... for something..." Cairo tried to speak without throwing up. "Too motion sick to help.... help Sans..." Asgore hummed and patted his skull sympathetically. "I'm afraid I have nothing to help, but I could help you find what you're looking for?" Asgore suggested. Cairo didn't dare say a thing in regards to the spell or what he was. He wouldn't let Sans take the fall for their father.
⚔️⚔️⚔️
"i got it! i found it!" Sans held up a scroll as he teleported v over, only to fall short when he saw the king. "oh, hey, asgore... uhhh... mind if we... take his? just for a bit?" Asgore gave an apologetic smile. You know these have to be authorized, Sans. If I could look at it, I could do so, but-" Sans and Cairo both shook their heads, the latter trying to stand in case things got... ugly. "no! uh, no, i uh... it's ok. i can put it back." They could try again later. "Why not? I don't mind doing this for a friend... you already came all this way." Asgore tried, but to no avail. "nah, i was only wanting to show cairo some history since he was never underground, ya know? while he recovered." Sans tossed the scroll and started helping his bro out. "see ya later, majesty." Asgore wasn't going to drop it so easily though, and went to see what it was. And seeing the Necromancer Spell pop up after so many years broke his soul. Why would his Judge need something like this? Unless it wasn't Sans who needed it. "Hold on a moment, you two."
