The rest of Cairo's day was working with the fish monster, Undyne, to clean up the cemetery. There wasn't anything they could do about the broken graves at the moment, but Undyne said she knew some people. Once she left, Cairo was able to poke around until he found the graves he was looking for. The gravestones of the Bennetts were cracked but not broken. Cairo liked to believe some soul was out there protecting them as he laid down the flowers he'd gotten and prayed to whatever afterlife their souls resided that they were comfortable and happy. After all was said and done, he explored a little more of Ebbot City before he ultimately ended up back at his hotel. That became the rest of his week, really. Working, exploring around, meeting other monsters, and earning looks of shock and surprise. Now that he knew why, it didn't bother him nearly as much, though he still sympathized with his fellow skeletons, on being the last of the species. Cairo thought to inquire about WD after their meeting and see what happened to his old mentor while they were trapped underground, but first thing was first: He had to make a good impression.

The Ebbot City park was big, filled with all sorts of people walking their dogs, playing with their children, and exercising on the nature trails. Cairo didn't know the first place to look, but lucky for him, he heard a familiar loud voice among the people, followed by an unfamiliar louder voice. "DON'T NOOGIE THE SKELETON!!!" Cairo chuckled as he followed the noise to a picnic bench. Asgore was stationed at the grill while Queen Toriel was setting the table with a human and a lizard monster. Not far from them was a skeleton, seemingly asleep at the tree and Undyne with the second skeleton roughhousing. "It looks like I found you guys." Cairo made his presence known as he gave a bow to the Royal Family. Toriel gasped while the human ran to wake up the sleeping skeleton. "N-no way..." the lizard stammered, shaking with nerves. Cairo didn't even notice the flower on the table had a face until he spoke, too. "What the hell?!" Undyne released Papyrus with a shark grin on her face. "Oh hey, it's you!" Asgore was quick to clear his throat before introducing him. "Everyone, this is Cairo Typeface."

Cairo found himself bombarded with questions as he tried to get comfortable with everyone. Questions like where he'd been, why they'd never seen him before, and how he knew Undyne. "Well... I never ended up underground. I lived my entire life up here on the Surface, hiding from the humans..." Cairo explained. "I'd been traveling from place to place, just trying to survive until monsters returned and I could come home." They all became obsorbed in Cairo's story, all but Sans who seemed to watch his clear interest in his expression. Gaster had thought that it had died, he had told Sans so himself. To see Gaster's Necro in person was the last thing Sans was expecting, but he was sure Gaster would've been excited if he'd been existent. It was no matter to him now, since he wasn't. Sans was excited to learn more about the Necro... when they were alone. He didn't mind watching over his father's first experiment with human souls. At least until the world reset again and 'Cairo' no longer existed within the timeline. "Well, now that you're here, Mr. Typeface, would you like to, how do the kids say... 'hang out'?" Cairo nodded eagerly.
