Chapter 12: The Surprise!
It was little after the dinner time that day when my phone beeped. There was a message from Rishabh.
Rishabh: Hey. Ready 4 tomrw?
Me: Yeah. Whre r v going?
Rishabh: It's a srprise!!
Me: Ugghh! Atleast tell me wat 2 wear.
Rishabh: Umm..... Sumthing cmfortble? Wear anything u like :)
Me: Okay... More clues please?
Rishabh: Im not tellin u anything :p
Me: Please *Puppy dog eyes*
Rishabh: No. I'll pick u at 2
Me: Meanie.
Rishabh: U'll like it, I promise. Mehr helpd.
I was writing a message to Mehr when he messaged again.
Rishabh: She won't tel u. She pinky promsd :p
Me: Ugghh, fine... C u at 2 . Bye.
Rishabh: Sorry bt it's a srprize. Gudnite.
Me: Gudnite :)

I placed my phone in my pocket and walked to my closet. I wanted to be ready tomorrow because knowing me I was going to sleep in. Hey! A girl can be lazy sometimes.
After half an hour of turning my closet upside down, I was frustrated. I couldn't find a single thing, I called Riya's name in frustration. She came in my room coolly, humming her favorite DDLJ song.
"What's up?" She asked me.
"Can you please help me? I can't decide what to wear tomorrow" I requested her.
"What's tomorrow?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows.
"My 'friendly' date with Rishabh. Duh" I said rolling my eyes at her, quoting friendly with my two fingers.
"Oh yes! Where are you guys going?" She asked her face lighting up.
"He won't tell me, he said it's a surprise" I puffed.
"Aww, he's trying to be cute" She cooed "So did he give you any clues?" She asked scanning my now untidy wardrobe.
"No, he just said wear something comfortable or anything I like" I told her.
"Then this means he isn't taking you anywhere fancy or to some amusement park or he would have told you to keep a change or a bathing suit for that matter" She said thoughtfully.
"Hmm...maybe he'll take me to the movies?" I suggested.
"I hope not" She said and we started to find the perfect outfit for the occasion as Riya termed it.
