3rd person's pov

The next morning seemed to arrive calmly; the blizzard that had been ravaging the forest had finally stopped, and several feet of fresh snow had fallen. Namjoon was one of the first to wake up. He had checked the weather before leaving the cave and decided to patrol the area. He wanted to make sure it was safe for the group to leave their current area, since fresh snow had fallen, he knew that they would encounter some problems getting through it. Taehyung was the next one amongst the group to wake up, he noticed that Namjoon had left while everyone else was still asleep. He looked at Seo-Jae, who was sleeping comfortably in Hoseok's arms. The two looked adorable in Taehyung's eyes, he couldn't help but find himself sleepily smiling at the two. He looked Jungkook who slept beside him, his legs sprawled across Taehyung's. He chuckled to himself as he looked at Jimin curled up against Yoongi, who seemed rather peaceful. He looked around to make sure that everyone else was alright, his eyes flitting to Hyunjin for a mere moment. Hyunjin laid across from the group, his face contorted in a painful manner as if he was in pain or having some kind of nightmare. Taehyung figured that Namjoon had gone on patrol, it was something that he always did early in the mornings back at their cabin. So he decided to go outside to keep watch over the entrance of the cave while Namjoon was out, it was the least he could do. He stretched his arms out, standing tall as he let out a soft yawn. He took in the sight around him, he always found it so refreshing to see the freshly fallen snow. He took a moment to just enjoy the fresh air and beautiful sun peeking out from behind the clouds, "Hopefully it doesn't storm today. We have a longer hike today than we did yesterday. I just hope Jae can make it through this cold weather, she's barely hanging on as is." Taehyung looked back over his shoulder at Seo-jae, her peaceful face giving him some comfort. Hoseok was holding onto her tightly, it was like he was afraid that she would just disappear again.
His ears twitched when he heard movement to his left, he immediately tensed up and turned back around to face the front but relaxed when he recognized the scent. He looked to his left as Namjoon rounded the nearby tree, "Hyung," He called softly, Namjoon looked up from the snow covered ground and relaxed when he saw Taehyung standing just outside the cave.

"Morning, what are you doing up? You're not much of a morning person." Namjoon asked softly, walking over to Taehyung.

"Hmm.. I'm not sure but I feel plenty rested. I'll be fine. How did your morning patrol go?" Taehyung quipped.

"Oh same old, same old. There's no new prints in the area. Either they were covered up by the fresh snow or nobody risked being out in that storm last night." Namjoon explained.

"You didn't smell anything?"

"No, most of the smells around here are faint. The blizzard swept away any fresh scent hours ago. We should be fine to head out. Let's wake everyone up and eat breakfast. We'll head out after that." Namjoon said.

"Alright." Taehyung nodded.

"You think Seo-Jae can hold up in this weather?" He looked out at the freshly fallen snow, his eyes held nothing but concern for his young mate. "She should be able too. Jin hyung and Jimin have given her medicine and they've been on top of making sure she doesn't miss a single dose. That fever she experienced last night shouldn't spike again." Namjoon shook his head, he patted Taehyung's shoulder as he walked past him. Taehyung let out a soft sigh, hoping that Seo-jae would start feeling better again. He missed hearing her cute laugh and bubbly side whenever she was around Jimin, Jungkook and Hoseok.

Namjoon woke Jin up first, knowing that he was the easiest to get moving but Yoongi and the maknae were the hardest to wake up. Hoseok chuckled when he was Jungkook cling to Jimin, those were not ready to wake up and neither was Seo-Jae. After a few more unsuccessful attempts, Hoseok and Jin were able to wake the remaining members of their group. Seo-jae sat up, leaning against Jungkook and was barely awake. She wanted nothing more than to go back to sleep, her fever had gone down and all she had left were sniffles. With her injured ankle, she wasn't going to be walking for a while which frustrated her to no end. Jin and Taehyung finished preparing breakfast, Jin keeping Namjoon at arms length. "Oh come on, hyung. Just let me help." Namjoon whined, "Not happening. The last time I let you help, you burned the food and nearly started a fire." Jin shook his head, "Aw, come on, Hyung. It wasn't that burnt. You're just exaggerating because Seo-jae can hear you." Namjoon complained, Seo-jae sleepily giggled as Jin shot the wolf a glare. "You really almost started a fire?" She looked at Namjoon, "Pfft, no." He waved his hand dismissively.

"That's a lie and you know it, Joon. You nearly set the camp on fire. We had to get Yoongi hyung because you panicked." Hoseok chuckled, taking a sip of water. Namjoon just grumbled to himself while the rest of the group laughed at his expense. Hyunjin awoke to the sound of laughter, a small smile appearing on his lips as he watched the group in front of him make Seo-jae laugh.

"Here," Jimin offered Hyunjin a plate of food, "Thanks.." Hyunjin took the food, giving Jimin a nod. "I.." He wanted to say something but he could tell that it wasn't the right time. Jimin understood what Hyunjin wanted to say but he didn't think that it was best to listen, Jungkook was still pretty heated about what happened so Jimin needed to keep the peace between them. After breakfast, everyone got ready to head out of the cave. Yoongi made sure that everything was packed and ready to go, while Taehyung and Jungkook were arguing about something stupid. Seo-jae couldn't help but chuckle and watch the two, as Jimin looked very fed up with them.

"I'm gonna carry her this time." Jungkook stated.

"No, I am. I haven't been able to even cuddle with her since we started this trip. You just got too! I'm carrying her." Taehyung argued.

"No, you're not, hyung. I am."

"Oh boy, those two aren't gonna shut up any time soon." Jin sighed, "Nope." Hoseok shook his head, "Do they always argue like this?" Hyunjin looked at Taehyung and Jungkook, who were now physically tussling.

"Unfortunately, yes."

"Alright, you two. Break it up." Yoongi smacked Jungkook and Taehyung on the back of the head, making them both grimace. "It was already decided that Jimin would be carrying Jae. If you two are on your best behavior, then maybe, just maybe you'll get to carry her." Namjoon informed, "Tch. Fine." Taehyung and Jungkook separated and with the argument now resolved, the group finally leaves the cave behind.
