35. A Place to Sleep

3rd person's pov

With Taehyung in rut, the group had to work fast to get to the hotel that Yoongi had spotted on the map. Jungkook kept a tight hold on Taehyung, pinning the tiger hybrid to the ground. "Let me goo!!!" Taehyung roared, he shoved against Jungkook's chest but it barely moved the snow leopard. Jungkook had always been the strongest amongst the maknae line, nobody understood where that strength came from but they knew he was the one to go in situations like this. "I'm sorry, hyung. But I can't do that." Jungkook shook his head, this only further angered Taehyung whose claws were close to coming out. "Yoongi, how far are we from that hotel?" Jin asked, "Not too far. It's about five minutes ahead." He answered, Taehyung started thrashing around in Jungkook's hold and managed to shove him hard enough to get him off. Jungkook let out a soft grunt, hitting the snow as Taehyung immediately scrambled to his feet. "Jinnie?" Seo-jae's voice came out like a whisper, "Jae," Jin started, "I want Taehyung. Please just let me go to him." She begged, "I'm sorry, sweetie. But I can't do that. He's not thinking straight. And neither are you." Jin stated, he was not going to let Taehyung possibly push Seo-jae into being intimate without being clear minded. "Tae.. We need to get out of this weather and into the hotel. Can we please just do that or are you going to make us have to use force on you?" Namjoon questioned, stepping in front of Jin and Seo-jae. Taehyung let out a deep growl, sending shivers down Seo-jae's spine. He was about to pounce when Hoseok appeared behind him, chopping the weak spot of Taehyung's neck. The tiger didn't see this coming, his tail and ears drooped and he fell forward but Namjoon caught him before he could hit the ground. Everyone blew out a sigh of relief, except Seo-jae who panicked seeing Taehyung unconscious. Jin sighed in relief and reassured that Taehyung would be fine, Jimin looked up at the sky as the clouds darkened. "We have to get moving. This storming is coming fast." Jimin spoke, "Yoongi, lead the way!" Namjoon lifted Taehyung over his shoulder, carrying his unconscious mate as Yoongi once again took the lead of the group and headed towards the hotel.

The hotel wasn't too big or too small, it seemed just right. It was decided that Namjoon and Jin would go get the room, so Jin handed Seo-Jae off to Hoseok while Jungkook carried Taehyung on his back. With the snow starting to fall, they knew it was a matter of time before the weather would pick up. While Namjoon was the leader and usually the point person to be the one to talk to humans, he thought it was best that Jin do the talking. Namjoon only come across as intimidating if he talked first, so here the two were walking into the lobby of the hotel.

"Hello, how may I help you?" The lady at the front desk asked, she didn't bother looking up but she knew that two people had just walked in. Her brown hair covered her face partially as she scibbled on a piece of paper, "Hi," Jin started, the young woman stooped writing and looked up from her paper. Jin looked at her name tag, giving her a small smile. "Ms.. Bethany." She was simply astounded by Jin's handsome face, her cheeks naturally grew red as she perked up. She saw his ears twitch as Namjoon came to stand beside Jin, she didn't even seem fazed that they were hybrids.

"What can I do for you two, fine gentleman?" She put on a big smile, turning on the charm.

"Do you have two rooms available? My friends and I are traveling with another friend and they don't exactly feel comfortable sharing a room right now."

"Let me check,"

Bethany typed in the computer, looking at what's available. "Okay, you're in luck. We have two rooms available. But the first room has two beds and a pull out couch, and the second has one bed. Is that alright?" Bethany looked at Jin, who looked at Namjoon and nodded.

"Yeah, that's perfect." Namjoon said, "How much for three nights?"

Bethany disclosed the amount, Namjoon reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet. Jin was slightly shocked that Namjoon still had his wallet, he was always losing other things as they would fall out of his pocket. "Here you go," Namjoon pulled out a wad of cash, he didn't want to take risks and possibly use their card. Someone could easily track their movements if they were looking. Bethany was shocked to see him pull out so much cash, but she figured that they wouldn't want to use a card in case they were being hunted by a certain hybrid group. Without further hesitation, she reached over and took the amount of cash from Namjoon. "Aright, here you go. Just sign this." Namjoon signed the slip of paper, Bethany handing over two room keys. "Your rooms are on the second floor, rooms 201 & 202. They are on the left hand side of the hallway, take these stairs and you'll make a right. When you see the 200 sign on the wall, you'll know where to go." Jin took the room keys from Bethany, giving her a bright smile. "Thank you so much, Ms. Bethany."
