3rd person's pov

A few hours passed since Hyunjin started his watch and halfway through, he found himself starting to fall asleep. Not because he wanted to but because his body was telling him to rest, he tried his best to stay awake but fighting sleep with healing injuries was never easy. His eyes fluttered shut and his head slumped over slightly, his body letting sleep take over. A few minutes after he fell asleep, Seo-jae woke up with a start. She gasped lowly, holding her chest as she sat up. Her body trembled from the nightmare she had just woken up from, sweat glistening on her temple. Her eyes watered, frantically looking everywhere. Her heart pounded in her chest, the sound of the cold winter air sounding through the front of the cave. She was about to move when she felt an arm on her legs, making her look down at them. She felt relieved when she saw that it was only Hoseok, he was peacefully sleeping beside her with no knowledge of her being awake at the moment. He and the others were to deep in sleep to notice that something was wrong with her, none of them picking up on the fact that her heart was still thudding against her chest. "Jae.." Seo-Jae tensed as she heard someone whispering her name, she looked around thinking that one of her mates were awake but all of them were asleep. Her eyes then went to Hyunjin, who was fast asleep which made her feel relived to see that he was fine. She hadn't had the chance to get to know him too well, despite the fact that he had been around for a few days. Hyunjin was always talking with Jimin and Jungkook and if he was alone, he was usually reading a book. She shook her head, thinking nothing of it but grew even more tensed as she heard her name called again. She lifted her head, looking down at each one of the young men sleeping on either side of her and none of them were showing signs of waking up.

"Seo-Jae, Darling... Come here,"

Seo-jae could feel herself starting to panic, her heart thudding against her chest as she looked around for an explanation. She looked down at Hoseok, wondering if she should wake him and moved her hand down to touch him but stopped herself.

"I can't wake him up now... There's nothing here besides us and waking him up for something so ridiculous isn't fair. Not after he's been carrying me because of my fever. He deserves his rest. They all do. I'm sure it's nothing but my mind playing tricks on me. Everything's fine, Seo-jae. We're safe here." Seo-jae took in a deep breath, letting it out and leaned back against the wall. Her words bringing comfort to herself, she closed her eyes and decided to go back to sleep. Her body had begun to settle back into sleep, Seo-Jae trying to clear her mind so that she could sleep easily. Hyunjin slightly stirred from his spot but didn't wake up, falling deeper into sleep.

"Seo-jae, sweetheart. Wake up," Seo-Jae felt someone tap her shoulder, her eyes shooting open in panic. Standing in front of her was someone familiar, she hadn't seen that familiar face in a very long time. She for sure thought that he was still with her father, there was no way he was here and none of her soulmates sensed him nearby. "... What are you doing here? How.. How did you get here?" She asked, looking up at young man standing just inches away from her. "I know you have so many questions but we don't have time for me to answer any of them. He's gonna find you and when he does... It won't be good for any of you..." The young man trailed off, his eyes shifting to the seven sleeping hybrids around her. He softly smiled as his eyes landed on the maknae line who were sleeping beside Seo-Jae, "You found your soulmates?" He quipped, looking back at her. She looked down at Jimin, softly smiling to herself and brushed a strand of his hair out of his face. "I did. I found all seven of them." She lifted her eyes back at the young man, watching his smile slowly disappear. "Look, you have to come with me." He grabbed her hand, pulling her out of her sleeping bag and onto her feet which made Hoseok shift.

"What?"

"We have to go. I know you don't want-"

"I can't just leave them!! I just found them! I wasn't sure that they would even want me because I'm human but they all want to be with me. I'm not just going to abandon them!" She snatched her arm out of his grip, stepping back slightly.
