AN/ Like I said there is a fire underneath me to write! I'm not the best at writing dancing so sorry if it's a little rough.

"This is the worst blizzard we've had in years!" Katie Killjoy's obnoxious voice rang out over the TV. "Expect this for another few days and hunker down."
"Boo!" Adam changed the channel. They were sitting on his couch, wanting the storm to end. It was currently day one of the blizzard. Christmas was in two days. Snow covered everything by a few feet.
"Adam, we should know if we need to prepare," Lute said, annoyed at him. Adam never cared what was happening around him. He was not one to prepare for the worst.
"You bought so much food!" Adam exasperated. Lute went absolutely ham at Costco and bought enough food to survive the apocalypse. They also had lots of food for Christmas dinner. "We have more now that my family can't come in." The whole East Coast was hit with blizzards, and there would sadly be no Christmas together.
"I'm just saying you can never be too prepared," Lute told him.
Adam rolled his eyes. "Let's watch a Christmas movie." He flipped through his channels.
"Eww, no." Lute's face was painted with disgust. "I hate the whole Christmas magic shit. It's so cheesy." Vaggie would try to get Lute to watch them. They made Lute feel sick and disgusted.
"Alright, let's watch Krampus. I think you'll like that." Adam searched for the movie.
"What's it about?" Lute eyed him.
"Krampus is the anti-Santa. He's a demon who punishes bad children and takes them to his lair to eat them. The movie is about Krampus terrorizing a family." Adam explained the dark movie to her.
Lute sat up. "Oh, that's sick! Why do we scare children with coal when we can do that?" Lute wished she had known about this earlier. She would have celebrated the creature and terrified people around the town.
Adam laughed, "Who knows?" Adam's face then fell a little. "Eve never wanted to watch this with me." Adam hated how Eve never watched anything fun with Adam. She always wanted to watch nature documentaries or rom-coms.
"Well, Eve hates fun," Lute told him. "Come on, let's watch the movie." She hated it when Adam dwelled on Eve.
The movie started, and Lute was enthralled. Adam loved it when she watched gore and horror. It brought a certain spark to her eyes that Adam loved.
They were currently at the scene where the adults go up to the attic to receive one of the kids who got snatched up. The attic was creepy and haunted as Krampus worked his magic. Toys and decorations came to life and attacked the characters.
"Oh, sick the angel tree topper is now a demon!" Lute got excited as the creature grew teeth and bit the dad.
"It's pretty cool how they took an angel and made it crazy looking," Adam added.
The scene built up to the climax. There was movement, and a Jack in the Box started to play the haunting melody. Lute was on the edge of her seat as the giant monster revealed itself. The strange demonic Jack in the Box had sharp fangs, big jaws, and a worm-like body. "Whoa!" Lute was glued to the movie. Sadly, though, the universe decided to take her joy away. The power flickered off. "NO!"
"Haha," Adam laughed.
Lute grabbed her pillow and hit Adam with it. "Fuck you, I was invested!"
"Guess we'll have to wait." Adam shrugged.
Lute stood up in front of Adam. "While we wait, we can practice."
Adam was now deflated. "Lute, we've been practicing so much we have no power." He gestured to the dark house.
