Idea from - the actual squid game series (mostly season two and three since season one didn't really amuse me as much) and @Felicityafton07
Michael is intersex in this au and Elizabeth and Cc don't exist here because well one they're too young so Michael is an only child here.
Also i may make this a multi pov whenever a character dies, it'll make sense if this au gets requested moree
Also just pretend c sections can just be done normally no medical purposes xxx

Michael's pov:
"Are you sure your gonna be okay?" Maisie hisses at me, passing me a fried egg, i nodded, trying to get comfortable on the squeaky mattress.

"You shouldn't have even come here, especially with you holding a whole ass baby." Aiden mutters

"It's fine, it's whatever." i shrugged, my full focus being on Noah, my ex boyfriend and the father of my child, which he didn't know existed, he was the reason i joined.

"You know this game thing is like apparently deadly?" Maisie whispers, trying not to be loud as the guards kept walking past, gun's loaded in their pink suits.

"Don't be scared, we'll be just fine." i leaned on her shoulder

"Hard not to be scared."

"If you stay scared you'll die quicker." it was only us three that knew what they really planned to do, since we'd all been brought up here for bothering to research the place in the first place, but I'd only reluctantly joined when I'd heard Noah was forced down here by his parents, who'd been away from him this two days of settling in.

"When does the voting happen?" Aiden sits down on the mattress

"After the first game, which is red light green light." i sipped on some water.

"Can't be too hard?" Maisie mumbles

"Yeah just don't be an idiot, have you told him about it?" Aiden looks at me

"No." i wanted to, but i was so angry at him, for just disappearing out of the blew, nine months ago.

Yes, my baby is soon to be here and that's the only reason i was afraid.

"All players please gather around to be lined up for the first game." the guards called out, stupidly, my number lined up right next to Noah's and away from Maisie and Aiden and anybody that i would rather speak to than him.

"Wait, Michael?" he touches my shoulder before i push him away

"Don't speak to me." i grumbled, walking up the stairs of the blue, pink and yellow room, shapes all across the room.

"Why do you- holy fuck- are you-"

"Yes i am, piss off." we stop in our trail, i glare at him, folding my arms

"Who's?" i swear a flicker of jealously hints in his eyes

"Yours, you'd know if you didn't just ditch me." i continue to keep walking, even if all i wanted to do was scream and cry to him.

"What? No, i didn't- fuck sake." he groaned

"I don't care, just leave me alone." i sighed, making my way across, we all lined up as a huge pig tailed girl machine thing stood, head down.

Okay, just freeze at the red light, it can't be that hard.

The instructions were made clear, i could see the guns already being ready to shoot from the ceilings, the first few attempts were decent, until a bumble bee flies about.
