Noah's pov:
Being in "heaven" was extremely weird, like it was just as normal as earth, well we are technically on earth just in the clouds instead but still it was still weirdly normal just with dead people who have powers i guess.

It was confusing to get used to, i mostly just stayed on Michael's side despite him being crazy busy with his own work and plus him arguing with these so called leaders.

Right now we were in a meeting together with all of the main leaders i guess and Michael didn't seem to pleased to be here right now, slumped on the chair with his arms folded and a huge frown on his face as he was being lectured.

"You are not supposed to just go back onto Earth unless it's a last resort." one of them say, their wing twitching with anger.

"Neither is to just drag a human here, he isn't going to last here, humans that are alive can't stay here."

"And i can worry about that, you go sit on your stupid throne and leave me alone!" Michael stands up in fury, slamming his hands on to the table.

"Michael." William warns

"No, i won't allow this to happen." he grits his teeth at William, flickering his gaze at everybody.

They negotiated on what i should do with myself, i wasn't really fond of people negotiating my fate but it shut Michael up, he wasn't yelling anymore.

"He will be tied with you, his life will no longer be his but now yours, so it's up to you what you choose Michael." one of them suggest

"Your love for him or your comrades lives." another says

"My love for him." Michael simply
says without a second thought but i could easily by his decision there was more to it.

I look at him confused, my head tilted as my mouth gaped at him, he doesn't look at me, still in his slumped position with his arms folded as he watches everybody else react to his response.

"And what do you choose, Noah?" they all look at me

I only just nodded, i didn't ask
for anything else, no extra time or any mercy, i just agreed.

Maybe that was stupid but whatever.

"So you lose your mortality and will be tied to Michael permanently, the moment the next soldier is about to die, you will instead as a sacrifice to keep heaven balanced." one of them start to move their hands, as if to create a spell, Michael simply tutted and tapped his fingers on his thigh out of impatience.

"And there will be no more portals to go back and forth to the human world and heaven, we cannot risk this again." another stands up

"Do i make myself clear?" they look at the two of us but mostly Michael.

"I understand, it won't happen again." Michael stands up, grabbing hold of my wrist and dragging me out before they had another word to utter, he didn't speak at all but sped to wherever he was taking me, i simply just followed him along.

He took me onto this hill, sitting on the side of the tree as he forced me to sit down with him, i took this as my chance to bring him onto my lap, laying his head on my chest as he simply accepted the gesture.

"You worry too much, relax." i whispered, kissing his cheek as i felt the tension slowly slip away from his body.

He didn't respond or well actually he didn't for a good while before he finally huffed and straightened his posture before glaring at me.

He was about to speak, before pressing his lips together and shutting up, i looked at him confused.

"Let's just, go home." he says instead, standing up as he helped me onto my feet, i chuckled at his sudden defeat and decided to change the subject as his mood changed.
