Dog Walker AU part 4

Michael's pov:
I woke up in Noah's arms, again, laying on his collarbone as he cuddled onto me, murmuring something incoherent in his sleep, i lifted myself up slightly with my hand, one of my eyes closed as i looked around, it wasn't even day time yet as i yawned, he suddenly pulls me closer to him.

"Don't, move." he muttered, laying his head on my shoulder, so i didn't, rubbing his back as i leaned my forehead against his chest, i couldn't go back to sleep for the life of me though.

Debating between grabbing my phone or just waiting another hour where he'd have no choice but to let go of me because i have work, was tempting, i ended up choosing to go on my phone, turning the brightness low so he wouldn't wake up.

"Go back to sleep." he murmured, rubbing my stomach, i didn't know why but i curled up to him, it'd been two hours since I'd stayed awake.

"I can't." i turned off my phone and shoved it underneath my pillow.

"The reason why you keep struggling with your insomnia is because you don't let yourself relax, your thinking too much." he hugs me tighter

"I want to talk." i huffed, turning around as he rubs his eyes.

"No, you should sleep." he cups my face, i don't even know why I'm allowing him to touch me this much, I've never let anyone this early touch me, but it feels different with him, he's not trying to hurt me.

"No, that's boring." i murmured, leaning into his touch, i stared at his face, his cheeks slightly tinted in a soft pink colour, his eyes looked darker than normal because of the gloomy weather, but i liked it.

"I-" i attempted to speak but i couldn't really seem to say it, even if i wanted to, why couldn't i?

I'm not a pussy, i can stand my ground, he looks at me, seeming to be lost in my eyes, trying to read me, i blinked and looked away, clearing my throat and taking a deep breathe, this can't have happened, i don't do this, I've never done this before, why so quickly?

I finally turned back to look at him when he pulls me closer to him, his forehead leaning on mine when he presses his lips on mine, i make a surprised noise but i was quick to lean into the touch.

"Noah." i whispered against his lips

"I'm sorry, i shouldn't have done that-" he pulls away, i tilted my head as i sat up and crawled onto his lap, lifting him up by yanking his shirt as he leans on his arms as i kissed him again, smilinh against his lips.

"I like you." i rubbed his cheek with my thumb, his arms wrapped around just below my waist as he lays back down, i straddled him as i leaned on his chest.

"You do?" a hint of worry glimmers in his eyes, as if he doesn't believe me, or he's never heard anyone say that to him.

"Mhm, your so sweet and pretty, i know your broken on the inside, Noah, let me help you, you don't have to be alone." i flattened my hands on his bicep, tracing my finger up and down as i increasingly got tired again, yawning.

Just then, the door is pushed open and a small puppy comes hopping over onto my bed, panting at the pair of us, i grinned and petted Pumpkin, sitting back up on his lap as i brought Pumpkin over.

"Hi there, my sweet baby." i cooed as his big black eyes stared back at me with lots of love, then Pepper comes strolling over, jumping onto the bed as she curls up on my pillow, purring as Noah pets her black fur, after a few hours of being lazy and just talking, Noah went to look after my pets while i worked along with Maisie.

"Any news?" she raises an eyebrow at me

"We're together." i shrugged, trying to hide away my smile as she gasped, getting off her seat and almost falling as she rushes over to me, hugging me.

"Eek! Thank God, you guys are gonna be so cute!" she squealed

"Okay, okay, let go your choking me." i laughed

"What's with all this noise?" Aiden frowns at us

"He's finally not gonna be moody Michael! He bagged that boy." Maisie explains, still not letting go of me and her grasp was too strong for me to even try push her away.

"His name is Noah." i rolled my eyes

"Congrats, Rosie pie." Aiden teases

"Fuck off your not calling me that stupid name." i grumbled.

It was about half past six when
I'd finally finished with work, again I'd found Noah dozing off in the pets room, i patted his back gently as he whined.

"How can you still be so tired?" i chuckled, helping him up as he hugs me tiredly.

"Your pets get annoying." he grumbles as i leaded him back to basically our bedroom, laying
beside him as i pulled the duvet over us.

"Awh, poor you." i grinned

"Your so beautiful." he cups my face, squeezing my cheek as i giggled, kissing him.
