Noah's pov:
"Noah-" he muttered through his sleep as i tried to wake him up, we we're going back home unfortunately, the week had gone by fast and as much as I'd loved all of this, i missed my son.

"Come on, your okay." i rubbed his hip as he slowly fluttered his eyes open, not being able to adjust to the light as he immediately curled up onto my lap.

"Oh, it hurts- so bad." he whines, wrapping his arms around my neck as i rubbed his back, slowly rocking him.

"What does, baby?"

"My lower half, I'm so sore, Noah."

"Right, fuck, baby I'm sorry." i kissed his shoulder as i let him lay on me for a bit.

"You wanna take a bath with me, hm?" i lifted him up a little so i could stare at his face, he rubs his eyes as he nods, i knew he'd probably want to be carried so i held him much like i would with Elias into the bathroom as i filled up the tub before stripping him and helping him in.

"Is it warm enough?" i checked

"Mhmm, stay." he lifts his arms up, i pull off my boxers amd climb into the tub with him, grabbing hold of his left hand and kissing his ring.

"What are we going to do for the wedding then?" i tried to make a conversation start since he'd definitely wake up then to answer, once i can get him to talk, he'll ramble on for decades.

"Well I'm used to wedding planning with my huge fucking family, they'll probably all want it be somewhat traditional, which I'm okay with, as long as it's not corny, i couldn't give two fucks." he leans back, his head lulling on my shoulder.

"I haven't even spoken to anybody in family other than my parents, i think, ever." i muttered

"Well, you don't have to invite them, we don't even need to invite my entire family, it can be just a small little cute wedding, or it can be a big one with my family, you've always been practically an Afton anyways." he scatters kisses down my bicep, probably knowing that talking about my bloodline was basically a trigger.

"Then they'd come rambling on how much of a toxic kid i am to the Anderson's, it's never a win win in my family." i layed my head on top of his.

"Ugh, hm, well, let's worry about your stupid family another time, the first focus is telling my parents, don't look at me like that, they're not actually gonna kill you i won't let it happen." he hits me playfully.

"I can do that."

"Exactly, then that way, my parents can help us plan which means we'll be at their house a little more often, which is fine because they'll be more people to supervise all the kids as well, we won't get shit done if Eri and Elias keep having screaming battles."

We'd packed and was on the road back home, I'd talked to Michael for maybe like, five minutes before he started dozing off, this always happens to him, he tend to sleep better in moving vehicles than anything else, which I'm okay with because i know he struggles to sleep in the first place.

I'd parked up and just as i was about to get Michael out the car, a huge force hit me by my legs that i grabbed onto the door handle for support, looking down to see Elias hugging me, i chuckled and picked him up.

"Hey, bud." i kissed his forehead

"I missed you." he returns to hugging me again

"I missed you too, I'll talk to you once I've put this one to bed, go back inside." i gently put him back down on the floor as i opened Michael's door and picked him up, leaving the suitcase for later as i carried him up to his bedroom that i vaguely remember.

"Put me down- too, heavy-" he slurred, going right back into his slumber as i layed him down comfortably, kissing his cheek before heading back downstairs to see them playing with his siblings or well to Eri, her aunt and uncle.

"Daddy!" Elizabeth suddenly screams, dropping her doll on the floor as she hurries off to Mr Afton, who's taking off his coat and hanging it up before locking the door.

"Hi, princess." he smiles, picking her up and kissing her nose as he walks over to us, dropping her back down to let Cc hug him.

"Where's Michael?" he asks me, pulling his phone out his pocket and loosening his black tie.

"Upstairs, sleeping, we came home an hour ago."

"Was it alright?" he sits down on the sofa above us, Cc gets bored and joins up, laying on his lap.

"Yeah, he had fun, i made sure." i tried to not hint anything.

"So was it just a random date or we're you planning on something?" he leans forward, giving me a look that he knew something was up.

"I proposed." i cleared my throat

"Did you?" he raises an eyebrow, holding his hands together over his mouth.

"He said yes, he was happy, i did it yesterday." i smiled

"Then as long as you two are happy I'm happy as well, but know your place, Noah."

"I know, i won't ever hurt him, he said that he needs help with planning though, that we should stay here so it's easier."

"It'd be convinent, I'll talk to him when he wakes up."

"Where's Mrs Afton?" i ask to switch the topic

"In Wales, performing, she'll be back uh, i think tomorrow or Monday."

It was about six pm, Mr Afton started on making dinner while the kids all settled down to watch a movie, although Cc hurried off upstairs as Cassidy came over, so i went back upstairs to find the bed a rummaged mess and empty, confused, i called out for him but there was no response.

"Michael?" i said a little louder, trying not to worry too much as i looked around his bedroom, finally finding him under his desk with his headphones on, trembling as he tried to calm down.

"Hey, what's wrong?" i sat down on my knees, placing a hand on his arm as he notices me, shaking his head.

"No, no-" he sniffled, i slowly grabbed hold of his phone and paused his music.

"It's okay, breathe." i changed my tone to a lot more calmer and soothing one so i didn't freak him out, I'm going to guess he had a nightmare and freaked out with me not being next to him, it's been happening to him for the past month, he's doubting himself again.

He follows my movements as i help him out of the desk, trying not to hit his head as i stood up, picking him up and laying down on the bed with him, letting him keep his headphones in if it meant it was a lot quieter for him to focus.

"You hate me?" he sobs into my shoulder

"No, baby, i don't." i rubbed his back, sometimes the best way to comfort him when he's this overwhelmed would be how I'd comfort Elias or Eri if she lets me.

"You promise?" he sticks his
pinky out as i interlock it, he finally believes me, wiping his face as he yanks off the headphones and before he threw it, i grabbed hold of them and placed them along with his phone on his nightstand.

"I love you." i kissed the tip of his nose

"I love you too." he hugs me tighter

"Do you want your father?" i played with his hair as he shakes his head, kissing and biting my neck.

"You wouldn't cheat on me, would you?" he mumbles

"If i was to cheat on such a precious boy, I'd let your cousins kill me." i simply said, it's like a war to try and win Michael over, he's the special gem of the country at this point, being even more important than even the monarchy, at least in my head.
